Anyone know what the spawn rate on this is? I camped the Faire for 3hrs last night and then again early this am...it was fun watching the noob's get drunk, take their clothes off, dance and then get raided by 2 lvl 65+ horde warriors...they hit pretty hard...needless to say, I walked away empty handed...

When you have a 5-10 minute boss fight mana/5seconds gives you much more mana than any intellect you'll ever find on an item.

Yeah - this is actually one of the better non-epic caster necklaces in the game right now for long fights, especially ones where you'll be casting most of the time, and so spirit won't have much impact.

1 point of int gives 15 mana (16.5 for priests with Mental Strength). An int-heavy necklace might have 15 int - so either 225 or 247.5 mana. An Onyxia fight might take about 15 minutes though - it doesn't take much regen at all to give you several times that much mana over the course of the fight.

In particular, this necklace would return about 1k mana over that 15 minutes. It would take 72 int to get that much via int - and good luck finding a 72 int necklace! On the the other hand...no, 6 mana/5 secons isn't going to do much on a 10 man Baron run.

There's math ... an equation somewhere that shows when Mana regen > Intellect but it's just basically dependent on length of fight. +6/5 secs adds up, you just might not realize it. I have upwards of 40-50 mana regen / 5 secs. In that same 15 minute fight, i gain back 9,000 mana. Of course a more realistic time frame is like 10 minutes .. but thats still 6000 mana.

bought this off of the vendor after checking her a couple of times while wandering around the faire for a bit.. seems to be a rare vendor item. crazy that you can buy a blue off of a vendor. :P

for rings, i have the mark of the dragonlord which gives 22 mana every 5 seconds while the shield is up

DM Faire opens at 4am Monday,

I basically camped the vendor for 2hours 5minutes till the necklace spawned in her inventory(so 6:05am server time).

I believe her inventory randomly respawns as slightly different items every 5-15minutes.

For long fights where all of the Priests are CROSS HEALING, mana/5sec is the best stat to aim for.

If you've got healing rotations, however, then Spirit is the best stat to aim for.

Since cross healing works and takes less planning, many people take that route over rotations, which is why you see so many Priests singing the praises of a mana/5sec focused build.

It's all about regen for the long fights. Save the high int and +healing brute force gear for UBRS and under.

I got the Darkmoon Ring last night at about 11pm... it respawned today at 2pm, and AGAIN at 3:10p... so these things seem to be on random timers. :(

I got this and two of the Darkmoon rings by the 2nd day the faire had been at TB. I think there may not have been a lot of people on my server looking for the items, since it�s fairly new (Akama) and most people aren�t above level 50 yet. I didn�t camp the vendor, I just checked in on her every few hours. The second ring was there about 2 hours after I got the necklace.

I parked my lev 1 banking character at Lhara and logged on now and again to buy herbs off her. Saw this Necklace one time, got over excited, bought it thinking this would be great for my main.

Made a school boy error, it's friggin bind on pick up and I've got 49 levels to make if I wanna use it on my banking character.

That sir, makes me an idiot.

Actually its a nice Int + mana regen ring for its level, up untill you get Revered with Alterac Valley, where you can get Frostwolf Advisors Pendant (10 Sta, 10 Int, 4mana per 5sec)...

I watched for this for most of a day while I was at work. Both vendors are on about a ten minute timer, with a slight offset between them. The ring appeared at 10:31 am, the necklace at 2:21 pm. I wasn't around at 12:00-1:00 so there might have been something at the 2 hour slot. You can get a small stack of superior Mana pots, dreamfoil, ghost mushrooms, etc while you wait.
