Looks a lot like Doom's Edge. Not uncommon for hunters to be interested in it. The drop rate tends to be on the low side.

I'm in a naxxramous level guild, many of our warriors reward this as one of the best tanking weapons in the game, lots upgrade from the Onxyia quested sword. Which I can't even remember the name of!

Great DPS and tanking weapon, drops from Nefarian, the last boss of Blackwing Lair. Resembles a Doom's Edge, but is very superior in quality. I'm still waiting on mine to drop :(

im hunter myself and this is not a good hunter wep...it got good dps and the + AP but no agi.
this should go to fury warriors first...then the other classes can need this.
we hunters should save our dkp for the doom's edge which is FAR better than crul'shorukh

This was probably the hardest thing to put away when I got an upgrade in outland.

Had the axe for about a half year and it was kickass as a fury warrior. Even for tanking it was quite good because of the dps and the speed.

Attention all Noobs...

Crul'shorukh, Edge of Chaos:

Is Unique (L2Read)
Is an incredible dammage dealer (A good wepon for any classes that require a high melee dammage output)
Will never be weilded by noobs too dumb to realize that guilds have DKP systems that govern what person achives posesion of this wepon (No hunter wepon blahblahblah)

Conclusion?

Those who weild it deserve it... those who dont STFU

I'd rather DW this with my Deathbringer, sure, DPS is nice, but then again, maximum damage for Cleave <3 cause cleave is the best skill in the game ;)

Got this a week ago now, it rocks for FW's!
With a few crits a mage is dead.
I got mostly the best FW gear before aq40/naxx and i do quite alot dmg;-)

I have a 60 hunter and a 60 warrior, so I can see both sides here, however, I would feel like an ass if i grabbed this for my hunter, hell id rather DW dawn's edge then have one of these equipped. If you think this is good hunter loot, go burn yourself. Hunters, stop crying about all the loot that you think you deserve to have and learn to know your class.

Who really cares? Like, as it goes, what possible effect does someone else's desire have on you?

Priority goes to:
#1 - Orc Warriors
#2 - Any other Warrior
#3 - Shaman
#4 - Hunter

Pallys dual wield shields, so it doesn't matter for them.

Edit: It's got a really odd name, but does anybody have a picture of any kind they can post?

This is a beauty

(I always switch stance to zerk immediatly due to fear immunity, more crits and whirlwind. And yes, you can switch stance without loosing rage.)

Let's see.. a warrior fury specced... hmm? /lol tbh its like hunters being BM specced, its pointless! Warriors = 2handed weapons, I'd say:

1. Hunters / shamans / defend specced warriors
dual wielding warrior = lol

It's mine, im maintank of the guild. it dropped yesterday and i needed it for tanking! I was getting sick and tired of getting overdpsed by a Spineshatter.

the stam is nice, the speed is average and the dps is uber.

Got one this past BWL. I love it. I am our MT, upgraded to this from Quel after waiting an interminable period of time for Garr to drop a binding.

A hair slow for my taste, but it hit like a truck compared to Quel. Nice graphic, wish it had a unique graphic or particle effect though.

This thing is absolutely disgustingly cool and powerful. The highest Heroic Strike measured was 1572 on a 5x sundered scarlet priest elite.
Highest regular crit was around ~1100 and there is still the potential for higher crits =)

Fury just became a lot more viable ;p

Just got this baby off our first nefarian kill tonight, and i must say, as a 17-34-0 war, that this wtfpwnz.
Thunderfury main / Crul off for Pve, and Crul main / CHT off for pvp.
Ownage.

I want this baby to go along with my Doom's Edge.
Throw a +15 agility on there and that's a nice weapon to duel wield with.
Warriors and Hunters imo. Both will benefit from it. =)

Heh... sorry... but this is the best DPS i've ever seen on a 1h weapon. It gives you 130 life, and +32 attack power... slap +15 str on it, and this is going to make the opposition run...

Blizzard doesn't usually give names like "Crul'shorukh" to weapons. They have a tendancy of naming weapons of great impotance in warcraft lore, so I was wondering if anyone has a bit of background on this particular axe.

Also, a pricture would be nice.

Wielding this Main-hand and Doom's Edge in the Off-hand. Both axes are quite similar yet quite different, almost like brothers of the blade splite in twine. I'll get em both just for looks!

not bad at all... decent speed and damage is wicked... what should i wield with this or what shield? na shields shouldnt go with this... this is for furry spec warriors and a stupid hunter

great stamina for tanking spec and I'm axe spec with spinal reaper so even better. I would be unbeatable vs melee using this+shield since it still does tons of damageswitch back to 2h for mages and such. I hope it drops soon.

good offhand to a r14 MH/hachet of sundered bone (or something better).

back when bwl first came out though this weapon was insanely good; not the case anymore, but it still pulls its weight around.

I'd say this is only for Dual Wield Warriors.

A MS warrior would take askhandi (even better than rank 14 pvp sword/axe), not alot more to argue about that.

Protection warriors: stick to Spineshatter, Broodlords Defender or Quel Serrar, this is not a tnaking weapon.

Dual Wield, I'd love this to go with my Thunderfury, even tho thunderfury got nerfed in this patch, I still say it's worth the effort. And this weapon for an offhand would do so much dmg rogue would go cry.

Paladins, get a 2h mace like herald of woe, or the 1h mace from neffie with loads of intellect and stuff, and dragonscale protector.

Hunters: Use your stave from lokdelar, this is not a hunterweapon.

and furyspecc totally, &*!@ing owns Arms so hard in PvE it's just sad.

Why wouldn't it be for a tank? Higher damage = more rage for fighting aggro, stamina + it being an axe, orc racial truly making it as worthwhile for a tank imo.

got it yesterday!
the fun thing was, that i did a max-hit with it, andit was equal the dmg i do/did with my UTB, good mainhand with Sandpolished hammer, or good offhand with Claw of the black drake :)

This is my desition:

1st. Warriors (Combine this with a shield in MS build , Fury is usable with a fast offhand , Little bit too slow for tanking )

2nd. Shamans and paladins (Highest DPS counts,
average good for the windfury proc.)

3rd. Hunters (no agi, but attack power<- useful for hunters)

I would only allow Fury Warriors to get this first. Then, just any warrior.

But if a guild is good enough that they can just breeze past Nefarian, and everyone who wanted/needed it already had it, then why not give it to a Hunter? It's their DKP anyways...

I sure as hell wouldn't disenchant this.

This dropped on my old guilds first ever Nefarion kill, my fury warrior managed to snap it up.

Can honestly say there's never been a single bit of loot I was happier or prouder to have. Was so loath to eventually switch it out in BC.

I still can't believe that i roll won it but i lost it due to a recent stupid rule that the guild i was playing had, where they give +20 roll for the "regular raider" who constantly soft reserves a specific item...
