Perfect caster ring. +hit and lotsa +dmg and basic stats. Nothing to complain about here, about as good as it gets in BWL.

Would a shadow priest use this in PvP/Solo PvE? Yes.

Would the fact that the shadow priest is marginally better in PvP help your raid in BWL? No.

If you are doing BWL (and downing any bosses), it's because you know that you should be giving items to the people who will use them for the best effect in raid PvE. Items with +%hit should be going to mages and warlocks because the items have the most benefit to the raid in their hands. If your mages and warlocks are passing or already have it, then the priests and druids and pallies can go wild, but they should not get higher, or even equal priority.

Like Ronald says, it's clearly a damage-dealer ring. As long as priests want it, we damage-casters elt them have Ring of Blackrock which obviously belong sto them. The same way this goes to us. Int for mana, stamina because we are favored as punchbags when we over-nuke and the +hit is a great thing to a certain extent, but the stats over-all say damage-dealer.

Not that there's really any reason to discuss it here. Any guild with the skill to get to ebonroc and down him in BWL also has the needed insight to know who gets this baby =)

u are damn right! that ring is for mage/warlock.
now most of the druids/priests will say:
"u say it is for mage/warlock couse u play with mage/warlock"
but thay wil be WRONG!:P
i am druid and i say that is for damage-dealing casters.
yes the druids on balance(my favourite is feral combat but im resto cause im more useble in instances:)) and the priests on shadow will want it...
m8 with pvp druids/priests U DONT HAVE RIGHTS TO ROLL on it when some dmg-dealing caster needs that. but IF NO ONE mage/warlock needs the item(VERY,VERY,VERY low chance to happen. trust me!:P) u can roll on it. but as many m8s and i sayd that isnt for healers like druids/priests.
there are more useble rings for us.

Thankfully my guild prevents items like this from going to anything but mages or warlocks. If the mages and warlocks don't want the ring or already have it, then it is opened up for the priests/paladins/druids for a lower "second-dibs" DKP cost.

Good for any dps caster, primarily Mages and Locks, but some guilds also have Shadow Priests, Balance Druids or Elemental Shammies so this can go to them as well :D

Obviously if your role is healing then this ring is not for you, +% hit is useless for a healer.

Obviously this is a damagecaster-ring.
But on raids with shadowpriests or other rare damagecasters is this ring quite nice for them.

Mages are always getting +spell dmg gear like warlocks too... not crits... but ofc crit&'s if u do pvp :s and btw...

Imo this + rings with Brood of Nozdormu rings are best for mage right now

Dropped for Fury from Ebonroc ... that's a ring - that's an effin ring! JESUS CHRIST! :D

I always thought Ring of Spellpower was totally weak compared to melee rings, but this.... now we're talking!

We're doing Vael and Broodlord tonight... I hope we get close to Ebonroc...

Killed Ebonroc 20+ times now, no ring.

Done MC 40+ times now(full), no ring of spell power, I don't think this game wants me to have epic rings.

Got it last night in a PUG. Very nice ring. Now, just need a Quiraji Magisterial Ring for Band of Vaulted Secrets...

On the other hand, TBC is here. What's the point? :)
