I am not sure if the above posters are aware of this, but this food is actually quite useful for a hunter.

When a hunter eats food after feigning during a boss fight, most food will stop restoring health once the hunter is put back in combat. This food, however, will continue to restore health for its full duration as long as the hunter is not hit.

The above is true for any food that restores health on a percent basis, but harvest bread is the most renewable source of this type of food.

A warrior with 6k health will with this bread regenerate 120 HP/sec a normal piece of 45 food will not even give him half that... But then again you can only get 4 of these per 12 hours, and they disappear after 15 min of logout.

Does not stack with mage food in Classic.

Cutoff points for comparison;

Mage Conjures:
7k mana, 2% is better than 55 mage water (140 MPS)
3.6k health, 2% is better than 45 mage food (71 HPS)

Essence Mango:
7.4k mana, 2% is better than mango (147 MPS)
4.3k health, 2% is better than mango (85 HPS)
