Painweaver/quick strike ring and Don julio's are much better for warriors. I would never "roll" for this.

Set provides a greater dps increase for Hunters than the ever popular Quick Strike + Don Julio's. Don't know how it goes for rogues, however.

i find this set great for fury warriors, we need all the +hit we can get.

i definately understand how hunters/rogues would benefit just as much, but the compairsons to don julios, etc, isnt fair because those are epic and much harder to obtain.

this is 2nd best for raw dps,

Don Julio + Accuria is for instance (+3% hit)

This is a ring for whoever can do physical damage that includes melee and ranged, us hunters dont think we own all the good gear and those who do are just loot $%^&*s. this set is good for hunters as is for rogues and warriors and any other class that could find use for it.

...this is better than the Painweaver band. I had the Painweaver and the Tarnished elven ring. I swapped this for the elven and my dps went down. I swapped it with the Painweaver and my dps went up. I got it off the Spider Boss in ZG last night.

Im a sword spec combat rogue and I was using QS & Accuria rings until I picked up the Band & Seal of Jin. As far as rogues go, the increased attack power from the Jin set is pretty unbeatable compared to other rings.

Combined with the Rogue class specific leg and head enchants and the exhalted shoulder enchant, ZG items and enchants add 136 raw attack power, it takes a long time, but its well worth it.

I picked up seal of jin so i was hoping to get this. Well, i couldn't make it to the last 2 zg raids cause of work and guess what.... band of jin dropped both of those times while i wasn't there. I still cry.....

No band yet. We did a run last night but didn't go to marli, tomorrow night or maybe even tonight.

Also, I haven't caught all the posts, but I'm typically seeing QS/Accuria and or DJ vs Jin Set.

But lookin at the rings I would be interested in combining Band of Jin with Accuria. It would give me back the 30 agility I'm getting with the elven rings and add another chance to hit.

It's not about their primary spec, as their role in the raid that determines who is eligible for what loot.

My guild has some feral druids. And do you know what they do in raids? They HEAL. We have some Retribution pallys, too. Guess what they do in raids. They HEAL. We have a shadow-specced priest. And in raids... you know where I'm going with this...

Point is, yes, this is freaking awesome for a feral druid. But in our raids at least, even when we have feral druids, they're not DPS'ing. Meaning, giving this to a feral druid wouldn't make our raid stronger. So, for us, it's much more useful for a rogue or hunter to have this, because DPS what they do in raids. It's about making the RAID stronger.

So if you have a DPS warrior, that only does DPS in the raid, sure, give him a shot at it. If you have a feral druid, that actually does DPS, not healing, in the raid, sure, give that guy a shot, too.

And if healing gear dropped? Yep, our druids and pallys have a shot at it, even if they're not specced holy or resto, 'cause healing is what they do, and healing gear makes them better healers, thereby making the raid stronger.

This is where the hybrid classes really get the shaft. If you can actually find a guild that will really let you hybrid in a raid (that is, heal and DPS and tank or whatever is necessary, like hybrids are meant to do), you're still going to lose to the pure classes for loot. If you only do DPS half of the time, then you getting DPS gear is less useful, to the raid as a whole, than if a pure DPS class got the item instead. It's perhaps unfair, but there it is.

Well, u can say what ever you want by the classring thingy! But im a Enhancement shaman!
And ive got a lot of attackpower gear,crit gear and so on. And the ring is awsome..Seal of Jin that is.
i use Seal of Jin and Don Julios. It works great by me. And the only real "prio" things is when its class bound.

Shaman enchanc do same amount sometimes even moore then dps warriors (depends on gear ofc)

I keep seeing people saying this set is for anyone that can do physical damage. I think that goes without saying because if a caster were to go for these rings...well I dont even think I need to say how stupid that is. The real issue here is who should get first priority on it. I tend to be pretty honest in my opinion even though I am a hunter...see my post about Zin'Rohk for example. But in this case I think its pretty clear that this set is "intended" for rogues and hunters. For the simple and undisputable fact that one of these rings has AGILITY AS ITS MAIN STATISTIC! This is a direct benefit to rogues and hunters DPS where as for warriors and other melee damage classes agi only impacts chance to crit. This being said Don Julio's/Quick strike ring and Gurubashi zerker seal is a much better combo for warriors feral druids and pallys who insist on doing melee damage. So like someone stated above...BE PATIENT. Dont right away try to take this set away from others who would benefit more just because you havent gotten your hands on Quick strike or the zerker seal, show some brains and wait, your only going to help yourself in the long run anyway. ITS NOT TO SAY THAT if someone feels that they can really benefit from the increase in chance to crit that they shouldnt go for them. Just be smart and make sure the hunters and rogues in raid dont need it first. Most advanced guilds know this and thus there shouldnt even be any discusion over it, just like if someone has one of the rings they get prio for the second etc.

This amazing item drops of High Priestess Mar'li. Mar'li is the fourth boss located in the Zul Gurrub Instance. Her aspect is that of the "spider" her area is found in just under that of Mandokir and is easily recognizable by the webbing that fills the area.

So I just thought I would ask on a thread that had relativly little imput thus far: Why does everything I read about a sword, ring, or nearly anything else that had a hint of agility or a +%crit chance have a mile long thread beneath it with an argument over "HNTR WEAPON" "No u r dum this is rouge!" (spelt it wrong on purpose) "my fury warr would kick @&# with this!" "well my pali could use this imo" ? ... Basically the argument over any item geared towards a melee class is going to be contested over all the melee classes, but in the end, Blizzard has made the items for... (suspensful music) Melee classes! Any item like this could be useful in the inv of any class: warr, rogue, hunter or whatever, given the right build. I know the argument will never stop, but please, why not put semi-usful/entertain posts on these threads like drop rates, mobs or rediculious stories... Really, the class debate has to go away...

btw: rogue ring! =)

won this last night on my hunter - spent 30 dkp on it - quite lucky imo since it's one of the best rings around when you consider the set bonus.
The warrs were all prot warrs, and the rogues didnt want it that badly/didn't have enough dkp.
Had 2xTarnished Elven Rings before this, so this is actually a step down in the dmg department, until i get its partner :)

You know, looking over things, as a mortal strike warrior you might think

Seal of Jin
(1% crit, 20 AP)
and Don Julio's Band
(1% hit, 1% crit, 16 AP)
is a good combo

But, in actuality, finishing the Seal / Band of Jin set might be more efficient

You're trading 3 stamina, for 14 more attack power, and yeah you'd lose some crit, but seeing as a warrior 20 agil = 1% crit, you'd only be losing 0.45% crit for a trade off of 14 more AP, which in PVE and PVP, AP is hard to keep gaining without a really good raiding guild, so it might actually pay off to get the set

Either that or wait until a Quick Strike Ring drops, and you have enough DKP to win it
