In pvp, if you know its almost time to execute, would be a great time to pop this, would up your damage quite a bit, especaly if it crits, not just that but a free mortal strike, or whirlwind

Seems a little underpowered to me compared to the other classes' trinkets. In PvP I'd much rather have 2% crit/Maelstrom card/HoJ/etc. Tanking raids you won't find much use for the Rage since you'll already have tons from all the damage you're tanking.

Might be useful for tanking lower level instances since build rage can be an issue there, but I still think this ought to do a little more. A short-term Strength bonus like a Mighty Rage Potion would be nice.

I'm a Raggy tank, if i'm MTing, my rage production is never a problem. However if I am forced to OT my rage production feigns quite a lot, and when you're trying to hold as much aggro as possible but you don't have the rage to do it, you often find yourself losing the aggro to the melee dpsers who are nuking their butts off. In this case I would use this trinket, that way I could gain lots of rage not once but possibly even up to three times during the whole fight.

So my understanding is that each of the 4 bosses in Edge of Madness drops a doll and all 4 combined creates this trinket? Am I correct? And also is there a certain rep you must have?

Kicks ass. I got my doll tonight. Sweet jesus, good luck to myself getting the 4 mats. This could be popped for a mortal strike, or better yet, when a boss is low on health, execute, bloodrage, execute, trinket, execute.

if i had this trinket, i'm sure i would use it, but since you only see a change in the edge of madness boss every 2 weeks, and you need a piece from each of the 4, that means 8 weeks of zg. even then, you'll have other pple rolling on the parts, so you're not guaranteed to get a piece. even if you are guaranteed, you have to wait 2 months to get this trinket. i don't think it's worth the trouble.

If i had this trinket .. i would use a macro to swap it in place and then use it .. and then place it back in inventory .... just like my "Nifty Stopwatch" i have now

This is not worth the time to get in my opinion... I personally as a prot War would not waste a spot in my bag to even carry it. I have to say i am very disapointed in this. I was expeting a very nice trinket. This is hardly epic.

Agree. This could have been the level 50 quest reward. This doesn't deserve to be purple.

Not sure what to really say about this item. If I had it, it would probably end up being used and swapped out for another trinket. But given the option to spend DKP on it, I would seriously have to decline. This just isn't worth it, even if it's free.

Now if I were able to swap trinkets during combat, I would make good use of this.

oh man, this isnt that great for prot warriors i think, but for a arms fury warrior(like me :D) this is awesome, a free ms or 30 more rage on a possibly boss killing execute. sooo sweet

As a protection warrior I really look forward to getting this trinket, my current gear blocks so much attacks that I lose aggro in MC due to no rage > no sunders/revenge/hs
+30 rage will give a good head start, also for onyxia, equip +30rage switch trinket and charge in, sweeeeeet!
Grind your way up to exhalted with Zandalar and score the trinket and you got yourself a nice set bonus aswel.

I don't think using it puts you into combat, but by the same token you can't really re-equip your normal trinket and engage an enemy in combat before you've lost at least 3-4 rage.

It's epic because of the ways 30 rage can be used when generated instantly. The average pvp warrior that has the ability to attain this trinket has either an arcanite reaper or an even stronger epic 2h weapon, and 30 rage means an instant Mortal Strike/Bloodthirst which will deal 400+ single target damage and add an enemy debuff/player buff, which is considerably in excess of what any 3 minute cooldown item in the game can do for a warrior. For pve/protection warriors, it's arguably even more useful than for pvp warriors in short battles, since rage generation at the onset of encounters with 1h/shield in hand is often an issue and holding hate means staying ahead of the rest of the party in aggro generation. Of course, this trinket probably isn't going to do justice in long fights (ie. bosses), but it would definitely be an asset in smaller battles with multiple mobs.

In summary, if you don't have enough space in your bag for this one, you either need bigger bags or have to make space for this at the expense of what is likely to be less useful stuff.

This is the trinket reward for downing all three of the voodoo bosses. A new boss appears every 3 weeks. You need the three items and Hazza'rah's thread to combine to make the trinket. Each boss stays for 2 weeks before rotating to the next one.

Combines with Gri'lek's Blood, Renataki's Tooth, Wushoolay's Mane, and Hazza'rah's Dream Thread to form a powerful charm.

if this effect doesn't put you in combat, then the lvl 20 quest reward breastplate is the same thing, only... lvl 20, and non-epic.

I recently got this and i can confirm it has a 3 minute cooldown and it does not put you incombat when you use it.

For those of you who think this sucks you need to think outside the box. The trinket does not share a global cooldown when used so you can macro it with sweeping strike. Hit one button and sweeping strike gets activated without having to worry about rage. Now imagine running into a pvp battle with Sweeping strike activated from the start or how about an instant mortal strike on demand? What about instantly disarming a rogue/warrior the second you spot him?

30 Rage covers the most highest rage costing abilities so this can work with ANY of our abilities. To sum it up hitting this button will give you a free usage of any ability of your choice.

Surely this is worth a bag slot. Equip this, get 30 free rage, equip your normal trinket, and start the battle. I imagine it would help create threat faster at the start of a fight.

When do you need huge rage RIGHT after you've popped a potion?
When fighting a mage. That's when.
This trinket is amazing to throw on right before you engage a mage. Stay out of range, mounted, swap trinkets, wait a few seconds, then f a p aka "free action pot" and charge. POP TRINKET AND SAY GOODBAI TO MAGE.
It's pretty clear this was made to combat the fact that mages rip warriors, and just popping a rage pot isn't enough... you generally need to f a p, and after a f a p cannot pop a rage pot.

This entire set works really well for boosting dungeons, not just pvp. Read the set bonuses. I use all 5 + ravager in SM armory for bigass pulls straight into sweeping strikes->whirlwind and almost always get a ravager proc within seconds. Intimidating shout works beautifully as a mit tool/bandaging utility near the end if you pull them all back. Hamstring, buffed by necklace, is the best proc generator when using weapons like Ravager (I also DW ancient hakkari manslayers with lifesteal on them for fun and heals between ravager uses-- slurp slurp). I can see how everyone would look at this set as a PvP set and it does make sense in that lens. But try boosting friends/selling boosts in it with some variance on a sweeping strikes spec-- it's fairly nutty.

This is an extremely underrated item in world PvP. It provides exactly enough rage to use Sweeping Strikes. You can make a macro to use this trinket and cast Sweeping Strikes before entering combat, then swap to a different trinket before engaging. This allows you to enter berserker stance immediately upon engaging, allowing you to break out of any fears, while still benefitting from Sweeping Strikes.

Assuming Gri'lek's Charm of Might is in your top trinket slot, it would look like this:

/cast Sweeping Strikes
/equipslot 13 Hand of Justice

You can replace Hand of Justice with any passive trinket. Passive preferred since active trinkets will incur a 30 sec cooldown after equipping them.

You could do the same thing in raids (use trinket, then swap to another) but almost all raids/dungeons have mobs or critters that warriors can use to pool rage before a big pull. Given that, it's not a great trinket for raiding, but I still keep it in my bags anyway. It does have a few important uses (before pulling Sapphiron in Naxx, for example).
