These are fished up from the Muddy Churning Waters in ZG, there are 5 of those waters in the river surrounding Hakkar's island.

So here's the story about fishing for Mudskunks in ZG.

Anywhere you see a bunch of gators on the shore is a great place to look for muddy waters (a cicular whirl pool area in the river). Cast you line...the bobber must land inside the circle of the muddy waters. Catch your Mudskunks. You can get 2 or 3 Mudskunks per muddy water. However, if you fish "gets away"...that's one less Mudskunk for you...2-3 strikes per muddy waters and that's it...it's gone.

So do you need mad fishing skils...of course you do. To gaurantee success you need 300 fishing skill + big iron fishing pole (+20 skill) + aquadynamic attractor (+100 skill). This combo will gaurantee you get the fish every time...anything less and you may sometimes miss.

Fished at these fish schools inside Zul'gurub, near entrance, requires +300 Fishing.

You have a chance to fail at fishing these with only Bright bables and +20 big iron fishing pole. Im unsure with the aquadynamic fish attractor. will update

You need a combined fishing skill of 330 to cast your lure into a Muddy Churning Pool and you need 425 to successfully avoid any get aways 100% of the time.
You can also only fish these in the Muddy Churning Pools in Zul'Gurub. They do not drop from the river itself.
