This is used at wind stones to summon the elemental dukes (any element, random unless you have one of the elemental signet rings), and at greater wind stones, along with a rare ring drop, to summon Council Lords (again, any element unless you have an elemental scepter of beckoning). It is consumed in the summoning, just like the cultist set.

Dukes take about 7-8 people (probably fewer if you have good people with epic set gear) from what I've seen. Haven't seen a Council Lord but I'd guess expect to take at least 20.

You had better have at least a 25-30 raid group to attempt it and that is if you are damn good. Went in with 40 raid group that does Nefarian quite a bit and it wasn't hard but has some interesting spell effects.

Is the necklace a single use item like the rest of the suit?

That's ridiculous... a large brilliant shard and basically 3 suits to make 1 necklace... That is INSANE.

1. Farm Twilight Cultist humanoids in Silithus. You will need 4 complete twilight sets and 3 large brilliant shards to get the materials to summon a Duke.

2. Use 3 twilight cultist sets to summon 12 Templars from the Lesser Windstones. You may need another person's help, but the Templars are soloable. Each will drop an Abyssal Crests. You will have 3 crests at the end of your summons.

3. If you are Friendly with Cenarion Circle, you will be able to trade in 3 abyssal crests + 1 large brilliant shard for a 'Twilight Medallion of Station'. Do this once, yeilding a Medallions of Stations.

4. Take the Medallion of Stations and your remaining Twilight Cultists sets, and four other party members, and use them on Normal Windstones to summon an Abyssal Duke. Each Duke drops an Abyssal Signet and either a BoE green, BoE blue, or BoP blue.

How does the Crest of Beckoning: Fire fit into all this? Does it summon one of the lords? Or is it totally separate from this? I got the quest from a recipe the hermit sent me when i turned in twilight cultist texts.

right i got a mildalion, i got the set , and i also have the ring.

1) can i summon from greater wind stone ?
2) how many people will i need ?
3) will it use the ring i have in the process ?

i think the lesser windstones are bugged on helscreem

i have the 3 cultist set and the neck piece but when i touch the lesser windstone i still get zapped

people told me to log off and in with the aromor on..but it doestnt work

I lost my mediallion trying for duke.. is there a way to get the npc to accept mats for a new mediallion?

I just got one of the Cultist medallions that you use on the Wind Stone. I can solo the templars with my hunter. How hard are these guys to kill you get from the medallion wind stone? Like how many people would it take to down one.

how do u summon from the wind stone 2nd tier i kill the first from the lesser windstone and was wondering how to continue. plus where do i get this medallion of station pls respond

Here is how the summons at Silithus windstones work:

The summon has 2 properties: A) Difficulty and B) Elemental Type.

A) Windstone type dictates difficulty of the summon (easy to hard: Templar => Duke => Royal).

You need a full Twilight Trappings set to summon a templar at a lesser windstone.
You need a full Twilight Trappings set + Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station to summon a duke at a windstone.
You need a full Twilight Trappings set + Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station + Twilight Cultist Ring of Lordship to summon a royal at a greater windstone.

B) Crest/Signet/Scepter remove randomness of elemental type of the summon (Air, Earth, Fire, Water). Type of element after crest/signet/scepter controls elemental type of the summon. Without crest/signet/scepter, elemental type of the summon will be random.

Type of item is linked to difficulty level of the summon.

Crest controls => Summon Templar from a lesser windstone in Silithus
Signet controls => Summon Duke from a windstone in Silithus
Scepter controls => Summon Royal from a greater windstone in Silithus
