on the pvp test realm on my undead rogue i found this guy he has a silver elite sign around his head which doesnt really mean anything i just thought id kill him cause he had a awesome looking staff. Anyways he dropped this ring and i never got to use it since i never got high enough rep for that pendant you can make at friendly. As far as i know i was the ONLY one that ever got this so please post
when you get it and what you got from activating the greater windstone ASAP

If you get the ring from Everun you needn't be honored faction to use it. Just equip the ring, a necklace and the armor set to use a greater wind stone and bring 19 people to help.

This ring also comes from the faction quest at honored (possibly revered) where you turn in 3 signets (from the Dukes) and 5 large brilliant shards and the npc will give you this ring. Everun just allows you to bypass needing honored faction to get it.

You do however, need to be honored faction (possibly revered) to turn in the Abyssal drop from the Royals.

I am honered in cenarion circle. Is that high enough to get this quest to open up? Do I need to be revered?

Is there a way to get the ring as a quest reward from the horde side, I am honored with cenarion and I would like to create the rings.

I will be revered soon too but I want to make some greater summon with the guild before that.

1. Farm Twilight Cultist humanoids in Silithus. You will need 16 complete twilight sets and 9 large brilliant shards to get the materials to summon the boss that drops this.

2. Use 12 twilight cultist sets to summon 12 Templars from the Lesser Windstones. You may need another person's help, but the Templars are soloable. Each will drop an Abyssal Crest. You will have 12 crests at the end of your summons.

3. If you are Friendly with Cenarion Circle, you will be able to trade in 3 abyssal crests + 1 large brilliant shard for a 'Twilight Medallion of Station'. Do this 4 times, yeilding 4 Medallions of Stations.

4. Take 3 Medallion of Stations and 3 Twilight Cultists sets, and four other party members, and use them on Normal Windstones to summon Abyssal Dukes. Each Duke drops an Abyssal Signet. You should have 3 of these at the end of your summons.

5. If you are revered with Cenarion Hold, you will be able to turn in the 3 Abyssal Signets + 5 Large Brilliant Shards for a "Twilight Ring of Lordship". Take this ring, your last medallion, and your last twilight cultist set and use it on a Greater Windstone. This will summon a Twilight Lord, which have a good chance of droppnig epics.

Also lucky today, the ring dropped off the Twilight Lord, I found him in the camp closest to the Cenarion hold. Our guild is now preparing for the summon of the Duke :)

dropped for me on burning blade eu server some days ago. just need a guild thats set to take the lord down..or perhaps i should wait until i have the quest, but thats gonna take a too long while. so selling it is an option, but apparently not many understands the value of this one. getting the ring straight away instead of grinding yourway to it saves tons of time id reckon.

I was doing The Twilight Lexicon and thought eve was one of the boss I needed to kill, so I killed him and quess what dropped, the ring:). Someone asked is he soloable, very easy. I'm lvl 57 paladin

How much should i sell this ring for on AH? i got it by accident while i was farming and have no plans of using it, so i just wondered how much it is worth @AH?

These rings usualy go in the AH for like 10-20g. Seen it in the AH once for 25g but thats probably the most you'd get if you're lucky.

Considering it takes someone that is Revered with CC to get the quest and use the ring... that's alot of work right there.

Those that "can" do that need 3 Abyssal Signets which run 30 gold a piece (or 3 duke kills and countless other kills to be able to kill the dukes in the first place) and 5 large brilliant shards at 6 gold a piece. This will get you a ring.

120 gold worth of mats to make the ring on WW.

Or, a "lucky" loot off a rare spawn.

Ironic, I just grabbed another ring off the AH for 44 gold. Poor nub.

A Scepter turn in (first time kill for a Lord.. which the ring is used for.) will yeild about 200 gold in money and items. More if you are a "little" lucky.

Maiden's Ring was my luck. 250 gold on top of all the other stuff in the chest.

This does indeed drop off Twilight Lord Everun. Got one when I was friendly or neutral with Cenarion.

I'm honored now and don't see any quests which allow you to get this. I'm hoping there is one at revered since it's a pain to get these from Everun alone, since the drop rate seems to be small.

Haven't used it yet since I don't want to waste it..

Obviously a new ratio for Everun was started - dropchance is now about 5%

got one 2 today - quite happy since i dont have to waste Large brilliant shards now to get it ^^

Hey all, just to let ya know that I got this ring the other nite and I'm just about 3/4 into friendy. Dropped off Everun. WOOT!~

Was wondering how many to take this sucker down. I currently Raid with a group called K.U.G. (Koalition of Uber Guilds) on Hellscream. we have been in MC since late Feb. and took down Rag in early July. We can do him with 36. Most of us are very-well equiped with complete teir 1 MC gear and a few teir 2 off onyxia and Razoregore. We are currently working on Taking Vaelestraz Down, (got him to 9% the other nite). This ring seems like a rare drop and would hate to fail. :)

Im friendly with CC and I got this from a drop from Twilight Lord Everun... But I was just lucky as hell. If you were grinding to get it, it would require 12 sets of twilight(that's the cowl, shoudlers and chest x 12, meaning 36 slots) + 8 large brilliant shards.. Where you would have to kill 9 elementals and later 3 dukes... not to mention that you have to be revered to even get the quest for it.... If I had a choice between grinding Everun, and doing all that... I would go with Everun :D

Well for one it is true that Twilight Lord Everun drops the ring, no matter your fraction rating, though im not sure of the droprate.

When reaching revered with CC, you get the ability to create a ring your self.

Definatly dosnt drop of everun. Ive heard say that you can make this when you get reveared, but I cant conferm that yet. The way the chain of quests and blizard in general work im asuming its true. Please post if you have ACURATE info.

One of my guild members got this ring as a drop off of a rare spawn in the southern end of Silithus (he couldnt remember the name of the mob). We used the ring to summon a boss mob from the greater wind stone in the south western Twilight camp. The mob was lvl 62-64 elite cant remember the exact lvl it showed. The main two attacks it used was the toss up attack that throws you into the air, it did about 1k-18oo pts of dmg upon landing. He also used an immobilizing tornado attack, that only effected those w/in 10 yards of him, this lasted for about 10-30 seconds. The mob looked like the snake mobs with the feathered wings, but was about as big as the greater stone. As far as I know we were the first on Doomhammer to summon the mob and kill it.

This is a rare drop from the rare spawn. You can also get this ring from a Cenarion Circle quest at revered status. You turn in 3 Abyssal Signets and 5 large brilliant shards if you get it (bop) the quest way.

Dropped from seom named with the silver elite by his pic. I believe it was High Keeper Everun. He spawns at the south and the central camp and wanders. Killed him 4x today and only dropped it once.

Here is how the summons at Silithus windstones work:

The summon has 2 properties: A) Difficulty and B) Elemental Type.

A) Windstone type dictates difficulty of the summon (easy to hard: Templar => Duke => Royal).

You need a full Twilight Trappings set to summon a templar at a lesser windstone.
You need a full Twilight Trappings set + Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station to summon a duke at a windstone.
You need a full Twilight Trappings set + Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station + Twilight Cultist Ring of Lordship to summon a royal at a greater windstone.

B) Crest/Signet/Scepter remove randomness of elemental type of the summon (Air, Earth, Fire, Water). Type of element after crest/signet/scepter controls elemental type of the summon. Without crest/signet/scepter, elemental type of the summon will be random.

Type of item is linked to difficulty level of the summon.

Crest controls => Summon Templar from a lesser windstone in Silithus
Signet controls => Summon Duke from a windstone in Silithus
Scepter controls => Summon Royal from a greater windstone in Silithus
