As a non-raiding mage, this is worth getting for me. My busy schedule leaves me out of weekly MC raids and therefore doing 5-man groups for Dukes to get the summoning reagents for several Lords is just about the best thing I can do. I'm working on the mats now, should have this ring within 4 days. I have a raiding guild that I can call upon to kill Lords with me.

If your guild is doing AQ40 on a regular basis, keep in mind that the "invoker" ring, in fact the only caster version, does almost exactly the same. A little less stats, but mana regen and same +damage.

neutral version is:
+6 Stamina
+7 Intellect
+21 spell damage
Restores 3 mana per 5 sec.

friendly :
+7 Stamina
+8 Intellect
+22 spell damage
Restores 3 mana per 5 sec.

and so on...

how can you control, if you can at all, which lord to summon?
its hard to get all the sets for ring and medal and the droprate is 'only' 50% you wouldnt wanna waste the sets on summoning something you dont need. there must be a way.

ortell sends you scrolls to make crests of beckoning, for each element, what should i do with them if they have something to do with the summoning? just bring it in my inv? what if i have more then just the 1 needed element?

I got it from our guild first summon :) nice ring. Need Caut Band too.

This ring is certainly one of the best items for mages on T1 level. Even if you got to BWL or AQ40 you will like the combination of stats and spellpower.
Yeah there are better rings out there in BWL or AQ 40.
But if you are into reputation, you should not miss getting this baby. And there is nothing more refreshing than being in a raid of 40 men and wipe out all the great windstones in Silithus. Simple MT-tactics and a straight forward fight...

It is a shame that great windstones do not respawn more quickly. Three are done too fast... XD

This is better than MC drops... Ring of Spell Power +33 spell dmg no other stats. It's a toss up.. but i would go with the 8 stam since I pvp so much.

Im a mage btw.

Is the drop rate really 25%? Seems like a lot of trouble to go to for no guaranteed drop. Our guild has killed this guy once and got the ring, and I have all the mats now, including the scepter, so I guess we'll try again.
