I picked this necklace up today. After getting three abyssal crests and turning them in once I hit friendly with the Cenarion Circle, I got a necklace (not this one) to add to the twilight trappings set. After using it and summoning one of those Dukes from a windstone, I got the Abyssal Signet. I brought it to Bor Wildmane, who gave me some money and a Sack of Spoils. I wasn't too excited, my friend got such a sack the other night and only got a Citrine and some pots/food etc. from the sack. I open it up, and yes I did get a citrine, but lo and behold, I see a blue BOE necklace staring me in the face! I was a little happy, I thought it would fetch maybe 20g or something in the auction house, I am a rogue but I like my Mark of Fordring better, but after looking it up on Thott and Alla im glad I haven't sold it yet. I saw a post here saying something about the "100+ gold it'll probably fetch in the AH" and alla has it at 700g median price (which sounds screwey to me) but I'm sure now that it's gotta be worth more than the 20 something gold I was gonna stick it up at. I've noticed some people think it's a drop on both sites, and hunters saying they would roll. I don't have a problem with unters rolling personally, but from my experience no matter what item it is if a hunter says he'll roll on it on thott then a huge debate ensues. I'm here to clear up that while it *may* be possible to drop off a Duke, so far I'm the only one who claims to have found it on thott and I'm confirming it comes from turning in an Abyssal Signet (if you're really lucky). So everyone do yourselves a favor and don't start a huge thread over whether or not hunters should be able to get it or not. I've little else to say on this item except that it looks like a great necklace for any melee class (or hunter) that likes to PvP a lot, or who can spare some crit for the extra stamina (mark of fordring isn't hard to get if you're high enough to wear this necklace.) If anyone has any suggestions for good prices I may check back here again before selling it. And if anyone wants to make special offers for it on Aggramar ;) my name is Nightdagger and I'm on the horde side.

Actual Value is probably 100-200g. 250 maybe.
However this necklace like a maybe half a dozen other BOE blues and BOE epics are available only through the sack/bag/chests. So their rarity makes it worth alot more. Which is why you are seeing the median price at 700g. People price according to rarity as well as actual value. In a few months this necklace will probably not be worth more than 100g.

On the other hand the Crystal Spiked Maul you can get from these sacks are worth at least 400g in my opinion and probably could sell for as much as 800g. Incredible weapon. Thats why I love these sacks, sometimes you get absolute crap but sometimes you get real lucky. So far in 3 signet turn ins I have gotten: nothing, Staff of Hale Magefire, Crystal Spiked Maul. Pretty nice odds I'd say.

Got it from the sack of spoils. Sat on it for a week or 2 half assed addying /2 WTS for offer. Finally pulled a price out of my ass today for 85 bid 185 BO and it sold within half hour.
HUNTERS RULE! - at shaving their immature scrots that is.

I saw somebody selling this in the auction house for 125-150g the other day. Then it dropped to about 100g. Then it dropped to about 50-75g. I suspect it's gonna keep on dropping. Doesn't bother me. It's him losing his deposit.

Why spend so much on this when for a few hours in AV over the course of a weekend you could get Frostwolf Legionnaire's Pendant for 7g?

I like the look of this necklace, but have no idea how to obtain it. I hear it has something to do with signets in Silithus? Plz could someone that is well-informed regarding this item detail the process of acquiring it for me somewhat?

you get it from killing Dukes in Silithus (which are summoned).

WHen you turn in signants, you get a sac of spoils. This item drops one that may come in one such sac.
