To begin with as many people as you like can pick up this quest (assuming they have done the pre-quest).

To begin the quest you speak to Vael. This DOES NOT start the encounter, there is a seperate option which you can click on to pick up the quest.

Once you pick up the quest the 5 hour countdown begins, however you don't appear to get a timer appear on your screen (like the 0.5 tier quest in Strat) so if you're guild is still "struggling" to get from Vael to Neffy in 5 hours it might be worth noting the time you picked up the quest to see how you're doing.

Then you fight you're way to Neffy and kill him. Not sure how the looting works exactly as I was on the quest AND was ML so had all the loot appear including the quest item. I'm guessing others can get to it after ML has finished.

However only 1 dropped for us and after I looted it no others could pick it up (we had 2 other guys on the quest as well).

does everyone with the quest get this or is it just one drops per raid

It drops if you kill Nef in less then 5 hours after you enter BWL and is 1 drop per run.
Only the ppl that have the quest can see it.

Found this out today that only 1 drops per raid per kill. I had the quest with a freid and it only dropped one... i missed out >_<
