These were given out in the major cities on New Years Eve 2005. Tables are around the Trade district of Stormwind covered with these mugs. Simply pick up a mug go to a Festive Keg (about 3 feet away) and fill your mug to receive Filled Festival Mug (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=21171).

For those without Cosmos. Go to Booty Bay, look for The Old Port Authority. Its the place with mace crafter, cook, etc. inside. Or 1st building south east from the boat that goes to Ratchet.

Look for two huge kegs; your icon will change to the gear thingy. There are two tables placed between these kegs with mugs on top.

Free to take quest no needed.

Seems to have infinite amount of booze in just one mug. Last only 24 hours though.

In TB these are located right in front of the elevators. 38,62 There are some Winter Reveler's standing around.

When you drink this you get a 30 second "light as a feather" buff. The beer lasts 24 hours.

After I drank a ton of times, the Filled Mug suddenly became an Empty Festive Mug again! I was in the middle of fighting pirates at the time. I would have filled up more than one mug had I known!

Anyone know how many charges the Filled Mug has?

They seem to run out at random. One I had lasted two drinks, one a few dozen. Some people said theirs never ran out at all. Also, /dance with the revelers near the mugs (Dead center of the SW trade district, donno bout TB). It gives a "Celebrate good times" buff for 30 min, +10% to ALL stats.

I grabed three of the empty festive mugs off the table in SW the first one does not have a 24hour expire where the other two did...so is it at random you get to keep one? anyone else get one w/o a expire time?

They all have the 24h duration. They just don't all show it all the time i think.

I got one without displaying a duration. I ran around an hour and when i looked at it again it said: duration 23h.

I am told that if you use it less than 4 times a day, it will never expire. Following this rule, mine hasn't expired yet, so I use it when jumping off of high places sometimes, e.g. off of nigel's point. Strangely enough, my filled festive mug with perpetual 0 days remaining, turned into filled festive mug with 1 days remaining and an empty festive mug. o_o
