This is just a crappy version of the one Rend drops... Band of Rumination.

I'd take 2 more mana/5sec than 8 int as a priest any day (works out to more mana for fights lasting longer than 5 minutes)

You could easily get this and the Band of Rumunation for +2%, 8 mana every 5 seconds and 8 intellect. Not too shabby if you ask me, especially for an elemental shaman that's trying to stack spell crit gear like me.

I think that this ring is worth the effort. I allways think every little bit counts, +8int is better than nothing. If you want you can combine with Rumination ring.

For those that think that this ring is terrible, think about what it takes to get a ring better than this one. I'm a druid and I'm able to solo every quest they give me, so I can get this ring by myself. This is very worth getting if you don't like to group, and you are capable of soloing level 58-61 elites.

If you are looking at doing the CH rep grind, this ring is actually a nice pick up for a relatively easy to obtain level of reputation. For a warlock, whether solo or grouped, the quests are pretty straight forward, especially since 1.11 when Blizzard grouped the hive combat quests into one easy package.

The 8 intel is OK, the mana regen fairly mediocre, but the +1% crit is nothing to scoff at: it otherwise requires 60.6 intel to give you that same chance to crit, so anything that easily boosts the chance of spamming those big flashy numbered shadow bolts is definitely worth while, especially when after loads of UBRS runs on several toons, I have never seen Rend drop the Band of Rumination.

More crits = more dead mobs and more dead peeps in PvP.
