This thing is gonna rock! Right now; in medium gear (ie. 6/8 Nightslayer) my attack power goes from 704 to ~93x with blood fury, pop BF then this trinket, I'm looking at 1210 attack power; unbuffed! for the duration of an adren. rush.

This thing would be Sick, Sick, Sick in the hands of a 'highest of high end' rogue; fully buffed. I can only imagine the Ambush+Backstab numbers we'll be seeing after a few of the top guilds start making serious progress after all the gates are opened.

Not exactly. You often times stop fighting durning raids, and at that time your trinket is cooling down. And not only that, its also fun to play with to get some really high crits (Rogue). I was getting SS's in the 1000-1100s with Battleshout and might, using a brutality blade (Going daggers when i get my perds).

Its better AND more fun to have a clickable trinket than what most rogues have, the blackhand + royal seal. I currently skip the royal seal cus i have plenty of +hit on my gear. But its deffinately better pvp trinket than pve.

Took me about a month of rep grinding and badge grinding but I got it. As tedious as it is, the trinket is well worth it. SS crits for a little over 1k while using the trinket...my weapons are a vis'kag main, and a brut blade offhand. Recommended for all rogues.

alright so i was thinkin if you could use this and the ZG trinket (not the 60 energy one, but the one that increases dmg by 40) at the same time... just like how the caster trinkets were pre-1.10. OR is there a shared cooldown between the two?

Got it today (Feral druid).
It breaks stealth right after you use it. No uber raveges/abmushes for you. Such a waste, GG.

I have this and the drake fang talisman and I think as of right now it to be the best trinket combo for DPS warriors. For PvP there is no question, and for PvE I still use it. Most boss fights last longer than 2 min, thus you can use it more than once. With this and battle shout my AP reaches 1580 - ouch!

He has double crusader proc up. Certainly possible.

2140 attack power with this trinket.normally use perditions blade in mh. max ambush = 2546. max backstab 2060 on regular mobs that dont have the "+damage taken in" like some cheaters use for max hits.

Simple for noobs, Druids in feral form, cant use items or trinklets, every 2 minuts, a feral, change form, active trinklet, and get a feral form? when changes, lost all energy, but if have talents, recharges 40 energy. The time to transform, and the mana lost, is a great disavantatge on dps. And... Im a rogue, sometimes i have the agro, and i have Vanish, ferals have an hability like feint, the feint only lost 500 points of damage on agro, for 20 energy, cooldown 10 secs, if feral does more damage, but dont have Vanish, feral have agro, and the raid goes to *!@#.
Yes, is a trinklet for ferals, but only for farm :)

The 46 AP bonus is the minimum you have overtime if all the fight takes exactly 2 minutes.

Lets say a fight last only 20sec than you have 280 AP bonus.

Lets say a fight last 3 minutes and you use it twice to full extent it will give you 62.2 AP bonus.

I think this trinket is great as it gives you a base 46AP + Random AP bonus to a Maximum extent of 280 depending of your down times

This is totally a hunter trinket...

just kidding.
From what I hear, the best thing to do with this trinket, as a hunter is....

Second 0: Use it.
Second 20: Feign Death and Switch to a Passive Trinket (i.e., Blackhand's Breadth)
Second 90: Feign Death and Switch back to Earthstrike.. Earthstrike cooldown at 30 sec.
Second 120: Earthstrike cools down. Use it.

and so forth.

From what I understand, ItemRack can be configured to assist with this 2-minute cycle. Does anyone have a script or macro that they use to perform the kind of thing I'm describing?

Bsst rogue trinket in the game I would say. The 2 minute cooldown is just ridiculously good, meaning every other battle in MC or BWL you can activate this bad boy. And I don't have to tell you what it can do to cloth wearers in PvP. Will they keep the cooldown at 2 min? Probably not knowing how Blizzard works, so enjoy it while it lasts.

wow lol i just saw a hunter with this jom gabbar, 6/9 cryptstalker , ring of the godslayer ,cloak of the fallen god and huhu's stinger....she said she gets about 5k crits with aimed shot when poping trinkets and all

in a raid, this would be just as effective as +46 attack power

I have this on my fury warrior. It's absolutely über. I'm not a math person but I think I do 126 more dmg when I use Bloodthirst and have the buff ((280/100)*45)) = 126

So fury warriors, get this bad boy asap.

whatever calculation you may be using doesn't take into consideration certain abilites that get used/activated while this would be activated. Like I dunno Blade Flurry and Adrenaline Rush for starters

Devilsaur Eye not, pop both of these, feign and put on passive trinkets, (blackhands breath, and royal seal or drakes fang talisman) and pop back up with rapid fire want watch some serious dps go to work.

How to get the Earthstrike Trinket:
Complete the quest Champion's Battlegear, which needs:
- 15 Cenarion Combat Badge
- 20 Cenarion Logistics Badge
- 20 Cenarion Tactical Badge
- 1 Mark of Cenarius
- Cenarion Circle (Exalted)

So how to get this stuff?
It all starts in Cenarian Hold with the Quest Field Duty (or Horde version). Sign the papers (Q-item) and open your Silithus Map and go to where the Alliance or Horde Symbol is. There you find an NPC with a dialogue to start an encounter, they call the captain, a big Wasp spawns, you kill it and then the captain (whom you shouldn't let die!) will give you the item to complete the Field Duty Quest. Back to the Hold and choose from 3 rewards: Combat, Tactical and Logistics. Surprise surprise they relate to the Quest items you need! You'll have to do this a lot btw... expect 50 trips or more as you do this whole endeavor. Alliance with high mountspeed (epic + enchants + carrot) will find it fairly easy to do 2 turnins per Wasp kill before the Captain despawns.

There's different Quests per type ie for the 3 different Hives and some other stuff. Field Duty can only give you certain quests, but completing a Combat/Logistics/Tactical give you a Followup Tactical Assignment and in here you can get more. Most important is Tactical followup can give you quest scroll number V, which is needed for the Mark of Cenarius.

So now you're killing bugs all day, completing tactical assignments and farming cloth or w/e for Logistics.

Mark of Cenarius needs you to kill 4 Quest mobs for The Four Dukes:
- Kill Cultists in Silithus for a set of Twilight Cultist Cowl, Robe and Mantle. Wear the 3set and speak to a Lesser Windstone in one of the camps, click the dialogue to spawn the Templar (soloable usually), requip your normal gear, kill it, loot 3 Abyssal Crest, bring a Large Brilliant Shard and go to Cen Hold for Quest Dukes of the Council. Rinse repeat several times.
- The Dukes are summoned by using a Windstone while wearing the 3-set + the Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station. They require a group to kill and spawn randomly, so either get lucky or go farm Signet of Beckoning: Fire for each respective element. They can also be bought off the AH. Personally we tried our luck and got it with les than 10 summons.

It takes a while, so don't do it all at once. Also you might wanna plan out which Logistics are cost effective and fish for those quests, just bear in mind some are easy to get via Field Duty, some from Followup more difficult.
