To acquire Fresh Holly simple type /kiss while targeting a Winter Reveler which are located in most Inns. Also Winter Reveler will only be spawned during the Christmas holiday.

Winter Reveler will randomly give you Mistletoe or Fresh Holly after typing /kiss.

You can get this by kissing a special holiday NPC found in the INN standing under some mistletoe.

I love this stuff. I was riding around earlier on my horse and I came to the inn in Southshore. I checked my mail at the inn and went to vendor some trash, and I saw the reveler, kissed her, and got this Holly! I had been turned into a gnome wearing a santa costume earlier in Stormwind, and so there I was, formerly a Human rogue, now a gnome in a Santa costume, riding around on a reindeer, and getting great looks from people all over the place.

Fresh holly, preserved holly, and mistletoe should fit in an herb bag, but I tried it and they don't. What's up, Blizz?

Also, I can't be sure (about the holly) but I think if you have 10 holly or 20 mistletoe in your inventory they won't give you more so stop by the bank first.

Yes i am. You can get either the mistletoe branch or the fresh holly (afaik)

It seems to me that I read somewhere that there's a guy you can go see who has a machine that will preserve your fresh holly for a price. Does anyone know anything about that? I can seem to find that information again.

throw a kiss at the celebrants below the mistletoebrach in the inns of the major cities, then you have a chance to get this thing

You MUST be mounted to use this. What it does is transform whatever your mount is into a reindeer with a red nose. Very cool looking. And the effect lasts until you cancel it (you can't use your mount button to dismount) manually.
