This is great tank weapon as well as good offhand it takes lots of aq20 runs for items but its worth it...

I agree, this axe is very good and worth the effort if you have the time. For DW fury warriors (espeically orcs) this is one of the best off-hands all the way through BWL due to its stats. Doom's Edge is one to compare it with. Although the Doom's Edge might cost you dkp, its a rare drop, and you'll probably have to fight over a few hunters for it (due to the hight agi). The stats on the sickle are better for warriors anyways.

Overall, the sickle is a lovely mix of tanking and dps ability.
It has a high damage range, is fast, and has good stats for tanking (stamina and defense), but also damage (agility for crit, and strength).

It is a step up from the Bloodlord's Defender from Zul'gurub, and on par (if you ask me, better) with the Quel'serrar.

As mentioned above, you can grind the reputation needed pretty easily, and the mats are not hard to get. A single full clear of AQ20 usually gets enough scarabs and idols to complete one quest (although not necessarily your class ;) )... and the spiked hilt, while rarer, has a decent drop rate from Moam.

Ok first of all this axe looks so good second of all if u r a tank all u ppl sayin u wouldn get it coz it looks ugly well ur A noob then if u wouldn take a great tankin weapon coz it dont look good..

It's a great off hand aswell because of the fast speed and moderately high dps, nice stats aswell.

anyone else think the set bonus on this kinda sucks? -3 rage cost to intercept, i dont really use intercept that much tanking in MC and such, its more of a PvP warrior move. also, since i am 5/5/41 i dont have tactical mastery, so i cant stance switch and intercept on runners. what do any other prot warrs think? it just seems to me tht the set is geared toward prot, but the bonus aint.

A fellow fury warrior thinks for some reason that this actually is superior to Brutality Blade, and I couldn't convince him otherwise, since he passed on it the other day. I have that sword myself, and I do use it with this weapon, but he already has the Sand Polished Hammer (which I would rather use than this axe).

Wel i like it it loos verry rare to me neve see someone with it thats why its cool u have to use to the idea that it has no pool to grap it :-)

WoW Classic - this is on-par with Doom’s Edge pure DPS wise - though it is a better OH than Doom’s. The fact that it’s faster will help you generate more rage, and this weapon is fairly easy to grind if you are willing to invest the time. If you have Doom’s as well as Sickle, you can put Doom’s in the MH if you do not have better since it’s superior to Frostbite (of course I’d expect people to already have Frostbite, especially if you’re an orc.)
