Dropped on our first Rajaxx kill and went to a druid.

66AP in cat form vs 44AP for a rogue

We saw this and every rogue voted for our kittybear to get em. He stays in cat form for all of MC and helps our melee out with his aura and we can tear through things even faster. Plus we all had BF Boots anyway, heh.

as a rogue I am an +AP freak, I havent found many boots to satisfy my thirst for AP other than the Pads of the Dread wolf. I even passed on NS boots, but these little babies are GREAT! BUT! I have to admit that feral druids dont have much alternatatives, and although I'd love to get these little beasts on my hadns (or my feet to be more accurate ;p) I wouldnt mind any feral biding for them. Not because he gets more bonuses but because he cant find much better boots. As for who should have priority ... well I dont think any one should be excluded. Rogues get a "slight" disadvantage since druids will probably bid lots of dkp since these are one of their best choices, while rogues have good alternatives.

Bottom line. Great boots, good luck to all you rogues and furry kitties I love you cat form dance ^^

These boots are one of the main reasons why I go to AQ20. I am a feral druid and a str #$%^&...I love cats form but these boots are perfect for bear or cat as they have the same in both necessary stats (Str = Cat, Agi = Bear). I will keep going to AQ until they drop.

My guild is doing weekly AQ20 since Rajaxx has been easy to kill and we never saw that boots drop. We even maybe do it two time in week and only thing that has droped was that epic sword 2-3 times. As feral druid for me that boots will be awesome upgrade over my crappy Shadowcraft boots.
I allready have lots feral stuff from AQ20 and ZG and have tank allmost every boss in AQ and ZG so that would be great to get.

So i'm asking if somebody have same problem with bad droprate for this boots?

I got these last night and imo as a rogue get blood guards boots/hands imo, you get about 10 more AP and around an extra 10 stam.

i have bloodrenched and these and blood guards boots/gloves, theres better out there for rogues, i got them cus they were gunna be de'd but had a druid wanted em id've handed over.

rogues, druids dont have good feral set items, let em take it, youll get better easy

These dropped while on a casual AQ20 run, our guild doesn't go much...

its nice to see that there are boots out there that rogues will even identify as better for kitties than for themselves, i was not lucky enough, however, to be grouped with any rogues who agreed, the rogue that won, it was a definite upgrade from Shadowcraft, but told me straight out after he won them that he'd be tossing them once he gets his T1 or T2 boots....

ahhh well...i'll keep farming... :P

well, as an update, i got my boots after about 7 or 8 tries...i'm pretty stoked!

as for the person who was asking about the Shadow Flame boots, those are amazing boots...for druid tanks...if i do get to Nef to get them, i'd definately roll on them for my tanking gear, but as a druid who is 11/35/5 i'm usually used for DPS because our guild is full of warriors...yes rogues can use them, and they are awesome, but feral druids get more AP out of them than rogues do...thats just a fact...

and as for the other comment about "endgame" guilds not allowing feral druids, we may not be completely "end game" like some of the top guilds on our server, but we do have MC on farm and are working for BWL, i've gone feral through it all without a problem, though i don't have a problem healing when we are short on heals as well, its a shame that some guilds just don't know how to take advantage of what they've got...

and thats why i love my guild! hehe

These are some sick boots in comparison to shadowflame and deathdealer. For just raw attackpower and effort to get them. We've had 3 drop for us so far.

I am a rogue and i would ALWAYS pass this item to a druid. It would be a good up grade for me but there arnt enough GOOD feral druid items so i beleve druids should get priority on it.

Awesome boots, only thing i would consider switching them with atm is tier 3 or boots of the shadow flame from Nef.

First time I ever see these drop in about 6-7 runs and I won them, over 4 rogues no less! Sweet boots for my cat/bear forms in pvp and grinding!

Feral druid and RL buddy of mine won these today, no rogue in the party.

7 kills of Rajaxx, 1st time they've dropped.

They are wonderful for Rogues and Druids. Thing is, a Rogue gets more use out of them because as already mentioned, they will be used in PvE and PvP. As far as a druid, they will get used in PvP and maybe some PvE.

I understand it's harder for a Feral Druid to get gear. But as I see it, it's best to give items to the class that will use the item in raids. Always try and aid the raid first.

Compare:

Boots of the Vanguard
138 Armor
+22 Agility
+11 Stamina
+22 Strength

Bloodfang Boots
154 Armor
+25 Agility
+17 Stamina
+6 Strength
+10 Fire Resistance
Equip: Increases your chance to dodge an attack by 1%.

These give you a bit more agi, but not as much overall attack power. Also I'm not much of a fan of dodge, as a Rogue I try not to even get hit much; PvP = stun-lock, PvE = feint.

Boots of the Shadow Flame
286 Armor
+22 Stamina
Equip: +44 Attack Power.
Equip: Improves your chance to hit by 2%.

Nice BUT, they give no agility or crit... And for a Seal Fate Rogue that's not the best option. These also give the same attack power as The Boots of the Vanguard, and give a bit more stamina.

All in all from the standpoint of a Seal Fate/Combat Rogue, The Boots of the Vanguard give the best attack power and crit. /love

Unfortunatly, after many runs of AQ20 it has yet to drop. :(

How often have you all seen it drop?

Rajaxx was finally good to me and I got these for my druid recently. These are bar none the best druid cat form boots in the game. We don't have any thing else that even comes close. Yes, rogues do have better, though possibly less accessible options. Forced to choose between full-time raiding rogue and druid, I couldn't tell you which should 'deserve' these. Though I can tell you that I do not PvP. If I did, I would go get the now easy to obtain rank 13 boots instead. I log my druid in for raids only, am guild MA, and especially since 2.0.1 have consistently topped damage meters against tier 2/3 and rank 13 geared rogues. These are anything but wasted on feral druids in raids.

Druid brethren, there are better tanking boots. I too would /spit on any druid who bid over a rogue claiming they'd use them for PvP, grinding, and the occasional tanking session. However if you are your guild's honorary cat, then by all means grab these!

Got them on my rogue last raid. It's realy nice stats on them, but damn they're ugly on a gnome :/

BTW at the same raid I lost the Sand Polished Hammer (Sand Polished Hammer to a warrior. Grats to him he realy deserved it.

theese are SOOO for druids, 22 STR ? please, get back to your t2 rouges.. or get ur shadow flame... leave theese to the feral druids who are allready beating you in DPS !

Look, the situation is rediculas, what should you ask yourself?
A.Does every rogue that is able to do AQ20, able to get the shadow flame boots? hmmm from BWL?
B.What are in truth the practical use of feral druids? PvP?
C.What are the practical uses of a rogue, does not really matter which spec he is, he still is the in most cases the biggest DPS...
D.Do you really need these?
E.How greedy are you really?

I as a raiding feral druid (zomg) i would give anything for thses boots as they give me 75ap with talents and thats hell of alot better than my current boots which give around 30ap.

I am a 60 raiding rogue, lost these to a Druid tonight who is also a raider. Stating he would use it in PVP and when possible as a tank. Sigh....do you realize how retarted that argument is comparing it to a Rogues usage. Very ticked off, please Druids realize that these are better than both NS and BF boots for Rogues and don't be an idiot like the druid I lost it to.

This item drops from General Rajaxx. The mighty Qiraji known as General Rajaxx commands the Qiraji armies in battle. He was described in the War of the Shifting Sands as "a towering monstrosity, swinging clawed limbs, looming over all and always shouting commands to the insect soldiers of Quiraji and Silithid during battle." He is currently a boss found in the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj.

If these ever dropped, I'd never, never, pass these to a feral unless I had Shadow Flame boots. And most of our Druids respec'd to healing/balance anyways. These boots are better than both Bloodfang and Nightslayer. Call me a greedy bastard, but I'll take whatever keeps me on the top of the dps charts.
