Elune Stones are created by the item Elune's Lantern (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=21540) on a 24 hour cooldown. The beams of light last for 3 minutes.

Appartenly they are just a pretty light...handy for marking in raids. However I did petition a GM about the Elune stones beacues I thought they would give Elunes Blessing. He said that they were bugged and to check the forums for updates. I have yet to find any information on the Elune stones in the forums.

This is going to cause a good bit of lag in orgrimmar :p

you'd guess its pretty pointless, just for fun.
but aparently it gives you a 10% stat bonus buff, for a limited time. ( like blessing of kings )

Elunes blessing? did you receive that because you stood in the pillar of light, or because you killed Omen?...

I got it when I killed omen, but I was kind of hoping that with the lantern you can give yourself that buff once every 24 hours :)

Will using the Lunar Festival Invitation scroll inside the Elune Stone moonbeam teleport you to Moonglade?

It doesn't work, only with "greater moonlight". Would be an interesting application though.

According to other posts, specifically the ones posted about Elune's Lantern, if you can summon one of these rings of light and then get Omen to stand within that light, it will deal massive damage to him. Otherwise it does nothing. No warping, no buffs. It does look pretty however.

For the warping, go to a major city and find the festival goers in a big ring of moonlight.

For the buff kill Omen in Moonglade and then stand within his light. It can take several minutes for the buff to kick in, so hang in there. The buff is +10% to all stats for an hour.

I found these stones very useful as a hunter when trying to mark one of multiple banished elementals in Molten Core (since they're immune to mark)

You can't get them anymore, unless there is a lunar-festival next year ...

For the people who do have the lamp/stone making machine, everytime you use it it has a 24Hrs. cooldown ...

I am planning to make a big LOL out of these lights within' 3 minutes, witch means it will take me 22 days to get the stones.

we saw no change in any stats,are you sure?The light after Omens death did that.As far as we can tell the light from the stone itself does nothing.

my guild fought the dog today, i used this item afterwards and gave me +250 health for 17min.

WE just killed him and got the stone..things i know..you cant port with it with the invitation..you dont get a buff from it at least at this time..i invited someone who wasnt involved before i threw it out and they got nothing...we didnt try maybe health and mana regen...take some damage or burn some mana and try it..dunno seems silly to kill him for nothing..24hr cooldown though.

The first day I used it it gave a 10% bonus stats. Now it doesn't do anything, either its broke or they nerfed it, but it did give a stat bonus at one time.

It may be a shield against Omen's AoE perhaps? Going to try it out next time I fight him.

well we just killed omen... got the quest done.. got the lantern... made a stone.. and all it does is make a beam of light... cant port thru light or anything i dont get it
