Melee pick this up for encounters such as Visidious, Huhuran and Ouro... You need lots of Nature resist for these encounters.

You will need resists gear for 5 man instances in the burning crusade. Best NR gloves for a rogue or druid.

Im a full feral druid, and i think that to be able to progress farther in AQ (if ur guild does that kinda stuff) these gloves need to go to a rogue. Ferals have other options, like the gloves of the sunken temple (or is it hidden? lol) and many others that are awesome for feral tanking. But the NR is key for rogues to survive in AQ40, specially if theyre not night elves(extra nature resist).

So unless ur a feral planning on tanking AQ40 (for which ur gonna need at least 14k armor, a bucketload of +def, and nature resist out the wazoo), give em up to the rogues, boys.

(rogues take note: a feral was supporting u...DO THE SAME FOR US ONCE IN A WHILE! =P)

These are very nice gloves for a feral druid. 200 armor vs. the norm at around 130 = almost an additional 250 ac in bear form. Also the stats are very nice. Rogues get very nice stats from their set armor, while feral druids, have to try and put their gear together from a very small pool of available gear.

Imo these go to the one with most dkp or biggest luck in roll, gl.

But I've tanked AQ40 skeram-huhuran as a bear, on our first-kills. 14k armor, most hp in guild, good enough dodge, not so much defense but enough... just why would you as a bear want more defense over dodge? Can you show me a leather epic that has other good bear stats(at least stamina & decent armor) and some defense? No, because there is none. Would you rather gimp yourself with green + defense gear as a bear? I most certainly wouldn't as you still would take hits and those hits would hurt you a lot more. And defense is not so important for us than for warrior because of the following:
We cant parry.
We have best potential for high armor & stamina.
We cant block. Blocking attacks cant be crits nor crushing blows, this is why warriors want to block more. They already have so high crit/crushing avoidance from their improved shield block, their defense makes them almost immune(1% chance to crit warrior) to those. We dont have any !@#$ing block so no matter if you got all the leather defense in game you will still receive a @#$%ing ten times more crits than warrior.
We dont use potions, so we cant base our tanking on chances. Warriors can use em while tanking, so they can base their damagemigration on more chances and fix the surprising situations by themselves.

These are nice for any feral who's gonna come to C'Thun/Viscidus/Huhuran/Emeralddragons to do something else than healing.

edit: to everyone that thinks that you must have every druid in raid restospecced in order to down something, get a clue. Do you think every guild who has cleared up to C'Thun at least, had every warrior prot, every dps-class & shaman in pure raid spec? No. Have it your way but dont tell everyone that "yeah if you do this the other way, you will need 1year more & tons more flasks to do this" when this aint the case. End of story.

We've always been able to tank with the right gear and spec. You DO see us succssessful in 20 and 40 man content and you WILL see us much more in the future Burning Crusades material. A new overhaul to our class and talent trees and much better feral itemization will make us a viable and valuable hybrid class to bring to any raid. Especially with the smaller raid sizes. Does a particular fight need an extra tank/off-tank. The Druid's got it...Healing intensive fight? We are on it with a huge mana pool due to Heart of The Wild and a bag full of + healing gear. Clearing trash and could use some extra DPS? "Meow" Oh, we will toss in a few innervates and a battle rez or two as needed as well...I am not saying we are the "best" class. There are a lot of things a druid's "parent classes" can do that we can't. But we can fill a number of roles admirably. Anyone who disagrees with that is either a newb or jealous they didn't roll a druid...

Oh for a little bit of rough numbers on my lvl 66 feral druid wearing a nice selection of BC blues.

Bear form: about 9K life, 15K armor unbuffed and a 23% chance to dodge...1150 attack power and around 23% crit.

Cat form: around 1500 attack power and a 28% crit. My mangles are critting for about 1K and my ferocious bites are popping for around 2K on a crit. and with how fast we build up combo points I am critting a lot...Not to shabby, even by rogue standards...

show me a nr heavy fight where you need feral druids. Most guilds won't even debate what's most benefitial for the raid. a big amount of stamina is pretty nice aswell in many of the nr heavy fights, especially if you are allready gimping yourself with maurodon gear.

Do you see what Blizzard did here? They gave these gloves more stamina than agility, and also added a fair amount of extra armor, which to me says that they are pushing for these to go to tanking druids. However, currently, rogues have it more difficult than any other class as far as NR goes, and the next best alternative is Stonebark Gauntlets, which are nowhere near as good and are potentially a huge pain to get. Also, rogues are in the fray much more than druids usually, and therefore have a greater need for resistances.

So, unless there is an encounter coming up that will require a druid tank with good NR, I think rogues should get dibbs on these.

You do realize rogues have been harping for more armor too right? Just because it's got alot of armor doesn't ever automatically make it druid bear form.

and yeah blizzards not going to release craftable NR stuff for rogues until most high-end guilds that are the top amongst thier servers no longer need NR.

I rate this as feral and rogue item. Strength and armor indicate the high usefulness for ferals, but it's best choice for rogues in some fights, too.

I'm content if no hunters are allowed to offer their dkp on this and ferals and rogues have the same opportunity to get it.

By the way - the cenarion recipes for elatherworkers, enchanters and tailors made it much easier to get high nature resist than at the time of the AQ first kills.

Well, Blizzard made a good deal here to let rogues compete with druids.
Due to the really high amoung of armor those have, it seems that they are designed for feral druids, BUT seeing that you need a ton of nature resistance for the huhuran fight and stamina really really helps there a lot also, I would suggest these go to the rogues first.

For gloves, there are not many choices with NR. Either go get the chimeric gloves with 12 NR and nothing else, or the ones from Razorfen. Or be a lucky guy and find the stonebark gauntlets (indeed I just bought them for 30g in the ah). These are the *only* choices one currently has for NR.
