Is essential to a Rogue, regardless of the price that you will pay against a warrior.

Dodge = Overpower.

However dodge means you can avoid = Hamstring, Raptor Strike, Herioc Strike, Execute, Wing Clip, Sinster Strike, Eviscerate, Riptose, Gouge, Kidney Shot, Rupture, Backstab (Don't ask how), Ambush, Cheap Shot, SoC hits, Windflurry proc, Rend, Bloodthirst, Whirlwind, Cleave, Mortal Strike and others.

Anyone who plays a rogue and dismisses dodge because of a single attack is an idiot. It's like abandoning +healing because Mortal Strike cuts it in half.

This is a helluva piece for a feral druid, I mean if this were plate with a bunch more armor warriors would be goin nuts right? Its probably an AQ drop, seeing as it just opened and theres no post before a day or 2 before this one. Dont be a greedy rogue, if you have a feral druid give them priority, and props for being in a guild that allows a feral druid to run high level raids.

Wow, that would be sweet. Being someone who stopped just shy of Field Marshal, I've been looking in vain for some other head piece I could use instead and had just about given up hope, but this gives me something to look forward to.

this would be awesome for bear form tanking.

High armour + str, agi stam and + dodge. with the lack of block/parry for druids + dodge is what they need for tanking. It would also be great for cat form.

But as the poster above said. whoever has the most DKP will win.

That piece is just insanely good for a tanking feral druid, or even a cat form druid.

19 Agi = all the usual bonuses
17 str x 20% = 40 AP in cat form
36 stam x 20% = 430 Hit points in bear form
250 x 4.6 = 1150 armor(!) in bear form (more if they have to talent to increase base armor by 10%)
1% dodge = who the heck wouldnt want to get hit less?

In short, rogues do not get the same benefits from it that a druid does. Those numbers are INSANE for a tanking druid.

but as one of the posters said, if you are raiding AQ, you have a very good guild, one that uses DKP, which means whoever bids highest gets it. Still, benefits a feral druid more than a rogue, imho.

BTW, fun comment on the name, last I checked it's generally animals that "devour" things .

What it boils down to is: every rogue on here posting about it, aside from the troll w/ the pic (who i can guarantee didn't loot over a druid, but looted for fun when noone needed), is not in an end game raiding guild.

If you raid, if you spend dkp, if you are a team, you would not bid on this item over a druid. A rogue would not *waste* his dkp on an item like this when there is clearly better options for their class.

It's not as if we roll with a bunch of Shadowcraft noobs into AQ and /random on loot. Those operating inside of AQ40 are operating at a level of play that renders discussions like this moot.

This item is our item. It is a Druid item.
Envy it.

The record values for stamina and armour make this the best cap for the tanking dire bear.

Blizzard adds more and more content that makes the simple raids of the last summer obsolete ... like bosses that polymorph their target incl. aggro reset (Jin'do - only Druids in animal form are polymorph-immune and can tank as dire bear with least problems).

So every 40-raid should have one or two druids that have tanking experience from 5-10 groups and interest to be dire bear tanks if the raid encounters a boss that's designed to drive warriors mad.

These druids should get this cap first, just like MT1 and MT2 got their +defense gear with priority.

Same with some other easily identifiable druid tanking gear.

it is good for each class so if this dropped for me i would let both druids and rogues roll on it. but i do think it was meant slightly more feral druids

If you can even get into AQ 40 and have a decent chance at taking down any bosses your prolly already doing onyxia and BWL some what and thus You can already have a Bloodfang helm and prolly some other nice bloodfang to go with it for some nice set bonuses with it.

Now a feral druid on the other hand will be running with their guild and Will have been passing on Stormrage and everything else that has set bonuses because that gear sucks for feral druids.

The Rogue that would take this helm over getting there bloodfang should be condemed to never getting set bonuses like a feral druid has to walk down that path.

It makes sence to give items that better suit a certian class IE rogue druid mage priest whatever the item first.

NO1 can argue that ferals dont benefit more than rogue on that NO1! ATTENTION ROGUES, if u dont choose BF or NS over this please quit... also u may have to find a new guild if u try to take this from a feral druid IF there is a TRUE feral in the raid. BUT, this should go to rogues, and hell, hunters over resto druids who can get cenarion and stormrage. DKP does matter but if everyone were to have enough DKP for it, the list of who it goes to is : FERAL druids, rogues, then if ur desperate...hunter/resto druid(although it wont be passed on by both ferals and rogue)

and a lil PS for all the little noobs who pst about druids not needing agility... druids get +to crit +to dodge, +to ARMOR, and + to AP

WHO GIVES A ^&*!

There are more than 6.5M players for WOW over the world. Each of dem want nice weps... You all dont agree but 99% of these posts go over and over again on the same topics.

What you are saying here will not make things change at all. %^&*in ninjas will stay ^&*!in ninjas...

Please give information like:
- how th item proc
- what is the results
- show pictures
- any constructive comments but no more arguing !

Agility: our main attribute, duh.
Stamina: keeps us alive, which on occasion, can be nice
Strength: nice for a little extra attack power... but not that good overall.
DODGE: ABSOLUTELY FREAKING USELESS IN PVE

If we do our job right and dont pull aggro, we dont have to worry about dodging, i am rarely attacked while in a raid. This should go to a feral druid IMO, unless a rogue really wants it and has more dkp... then the druids can spam moonfire on him.

This helm is great for a feral druid. Wondeful in Bear form and not too bad for cat form. Wish the graphic was a little better, but you don't see it anyway when you are a bear.

This is the best feral helm in the game 250 armor, and all the strength, a rogues and idiot if they want this...ZOMG 1 dodge...go get bf helm or another helm with a lot of agi, leave the druids' high str/armor pcs alone...thx

How difficult are the 3 really?
What level of equip, experience etc. should a raid have to take them down?

This is a feral druid item, but can also be used by tanking rogues *sarcasm* ... This would be the end-game head-piece i want! I SO WISH Blizzard would make some good feral druid pieces that said "Classes: Druid", because rogues get all the items we need for our gear. There are some feral stuff marked for druids, but they are not pure feral, there is always some intellect/spirit/+healing on them! I want pure physical damage and sta/def/armor!

When a rogue says "A druid is a healer, and nothing else! Feral druids has nothing with PvE to do", it pisses me so off!

Only real reason id want this is for pvp. I have southwind helm atm which is better for me as a rogue. Havent had a chance to get bf yet but i would rather have that over this any day.If your that desparate for a helm try out southwind helm. Drops in aq 20 and pretty easy to get. Also makes for a pretty good feral helm.

Got this today and I'm a very happy druid ^_^. None of the rogues had any complaints about a me getting this item. One of the priest actually said something like "Oh good the tank got it".

Human female rogue just got this on Sylvanas. No Druids or other Rogues wanted it so I took it on the strength of its Power Rangers looks. Now my eyes match my blue bug.

It seems that there are 3 types of rogues

Type1: Whinges about why druids get any gear that they would mildly suit even though they could get much better

Type2: Asks why there even is feral gear

Type3: Accually doesn't mind that there is some feral gear and acepts it considering there is better for them

Which Type sounds more Mature you tell me

As a rogue, i completely agree that this would benefit feral druids far more than it would us. As was stated, the deathdealer's helm from the quests is much better, and so is the bloodfang hood. If you're in a guild that can get this far in aq, then you shouldn't have any problem downing ony for the bf helm, or farming aq for the items needed to get your deathdealer.

Obviously it's not too shabby for either rogues or druids... rogues <3 stamina as well. I just think that Blizz has geared this towards druids based on the insane amount of armor... Dire Bear and thick hide make this... well... it's so good it should be illegal. Just imagine this combined with Malfurion's Blessed Bulwark. LET THE DAMAGE MITIGATION BEGIN!

They made it ugly to make the druids actually want to go into bearform, which itself is fakking ugly, so i let the druids choose, cockroach or bear with misplaced muscles.

As a rogue myself... this is feral druid and NOTHING else.

I love how now all of the sudden almost any nice leather is for FERAL druids. Go heal me and let me do the dmg. How many druids are needed to tank in AQ. Thought so.

1) I would NEVER heal you, you'd have the most insanely high repair bill on earth, anyone who'd target someone as disrespectful to other classes as you are, is insane.

2) last time I saw an extra 100 armor or so help a rogue was ... never.

3) I've been called on to tank in AQ20 and I've tanked adds in 40 as well to keep the swarmguards and warriors that spawn off twin emps trash from molesting our priests.

Let the druids have this one, concidering that the Deathdealer's Helm is far better that this for a rogue, and they will get it while the druids gets this one.

now THIS would be nice on a feral druid. Although if the feral druid had it or better, it would be nice on a rogue, 17 str and 19 agil, dont forget that rogue are different. They get dmg boost from both sr and agi so this would be pretty nice.

Clearly an item intended for Bear Tanking. Any Rogue that would equip this would gimp themself since there are equivalent uber loot for them in AQ.

Last I heard Rogues like dealing damage. The Bloodfang fairly obviously offers better damage -- not to mention a possible set bonus. If I could get Bloodfang for catform I would.... but alas..

A druid gets the following from the Guise:
250 Armor x 360%+10%(talent) in Bearform!
250 Hitpoints (+5% if Tauren), necessary for Bear.
34 Attack Power (more with Heart of the Wild) in Bear.
or 53 Attack Power in Cat.

Why the hell would you obstruct who this was obviously intended for from obtaining it?

I wont even get into how much more badass the Deathdealer Helm is for rogues than this....

Druids taunting Boss/Adds back to tanks from the DPS group can be handy on Sartura. And Druids can be awsome as damage soakers on Huhuran with some NR. Maybe you should actually understand the encounters before you start writing bull^&*! down :)

wow, those stats are very nice. a ton of stamina and a sizable amount of strength and agility.

i can already tell theres going to be conflict between feral druids and rogues who feel one or the other deserve it more. something tells me hunters will get in the mix too.

Being a bear tank; I can say - this is the
best bear head piece currently in the game,
hands down. It got insane AC (With talents
we get five times the original armor value,
in bear form), it got insane stamina, it got
+dodge (only way to compensate for lack of
parry), and it got both strenght + agility,
which is mainly for aggro control but agility
also provides some dodge and armor.

This is the ultimate head piece for a bear tank,
it's the perfect head slot item. It's as good
as it gets, so stop whining about druids and
loot, and go get your Bloodfang stuff instead,
you tiresome rogues ;)

On a sidenote, rogues shouldn't need very much
healing.. I hear they have an ability called
first aid, and that it can be used to regain
life. Then again, it's just a rumour, I wouldn't know.

Got this helmet yesterday, it's really nice. Im a druid on Trollbane. (Happy drood mkay?)

Was kind of lucky, i was the onlyone who wanted this other than a Trail drood (pwnt!) so i got it :D couldn't have spent my DKP better ^^

Well offering you image of this helm on a female NE druid. I am not feral (19p on it), but as our feral druids were not on raid and out of 5 druids I had most points on feral side as well I am often in forms, people were cool with me bididng on it. I have already earned nickname as "Power Chicken" and "Powerranger" - the 1st one must be because I am really a balance ...

The drop rate on this head can't be right. Last time it dropped for us was 19 November. So i have been waiting for it for 6 months next reset and the only item keeping me from full bis. We have been raiding AQ40 since the release of it and only gotten 1 head. &*!@ rng!
