You turn these in at LHC in lots of 30 for Insignia of the crusade.

Insignias can be turned in for Craftsman's writ or in larger quantities (based on rep level) for armaments of the dawn (either superior or epic quality)

Dropped in eastern Plauge lands in the tunnel from the crypt fiends...what are they for?

30 Crypt Fiend Parts = 1 Insignia of the Crusade
These drop off of Crypt Fiends in northern EPL near terrordale or in the terrordale tunnel, also from Strat.

30 Bone Fragments = 1 Insignia of the Crusade
Drop off of any Undead in EPL or WPL

30 Dark Iron Scraps = 1 Insignia of the Dawn
Drop from most humanoids in Burning steppes and Searing Gorge. Drop in large stacks (3-5) from BRD.

30 Core of Elements = 1 Insignia of the Dawn
Drop from elementals in Burning steppes and Searing Gorge. Also from BRD elementals in stacks of 3-5.

Combine IotC and IotD for turn ins to get gear from the Argent Dawn. The gear and what you need can be found here.http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/factions/argent/
Select your current reputation rating with AD and see how many you need.

These drop off of all Spider like creatures, best luck if truely farming these is inside Stratholme or Scholomace, these can also me farmed quite easily in NW Eastern Plaguelands.

If your not into instancing that is.

The bone fragments only drop from skeletal and the core of elements drop from any elemental. I've been farming some in Felwood and EPL. Found 11 Essence of Water doing so.

They drop of the crypt mobs in terrordale and inside the tunnel. Terrordale is west of plaguewood in EPL. I had about 1h30 to get the 30 crypt fiend parts.

There is a elite lvl 60 spawn in this tunnel, Nerubian Overseer. He must have been added with patch 1.11. He droped 4 of those crypt fiend parts for me. No other drops though.

Attention, today 25.7. Nerubian Overseer seems to be bugged a bit. If you engage the combat you keep in combat even if you run away and get far out of sight. Quite annoying. So kill or dont touch ;) I had troubles killing him as prot warrior in MC gear. Needed DPS support and then it was easy...

i think that the drop rate is higher in stratholm than sholomance
every time iam making a group run in strathom baron or scarlet not both of them i am getting about 25-30 of these
and every time i am getting a full group run in sholomance i am getting only 5-10 of these.

when you get 30 of them you can turn them in the eastern Plaguelands at the Light�s Hope Chapel, east of Corin�s Crossing, and they will reward you with 1 Insignia of the Crusade.

in scholomance, the crypt fiends respawn every few minutes in the first several rooms. and each drops about 5 or so. and they are easy to solo

The lv 60 elite "Nerubian Overseer" has dropped 7-8 crypt fiend parts and a scourgestone for me every time I've killed it. 2-manned her with a lv60 rogue friend (I'm lv60 druid), and then it's easy.

I got some of Anub'shiah in the arena of BRD as stated above.

even with them all farmed out to crap, the best place to get these is Terrorweb Tunnel in EPL. you're sure to get at least 1-2 spawns if you run through the tunnel back and forth.
