Necro-Knight's garb is an excellent robe for PvP (and PvE). The high stamina is what makes it very pleasing not to mention the 37 spell damage. Easily obtained by a Naxx guild.

However, as we all know many Casual Players cannot get these items due to their daily time plan and/or dislikes of raiding. That is why blizzard has given them a BoE Robe which is comparable to this robe, however costs alot of money.

This robe may lack a little more dmg, however both an excellent robe only this one could be bought off Raiding Guilds or AH.

I got this in my first night in Naxx, it's brilliant for PvE as it increases survivability greatly and has a large amount of +dmg on it.

It's also a brutal PvP robe, it has more armor than most feral druid chests!

Only downside is the lack of int on it, which is why I got 100 mana enchanted onto mine

Yeah, I used to be one of those people, "Warrior item, hunter item, w/e class item"... But I realized, why bother? People are going to loot and wear what they want anyways, so as long as I don't feel the effects when my item drops, who cares? Seriously now, they wouldn't have made a three class specific gear for nothing. If it had a class restriction, it would say so. So, until everyone stops this nonsense on who's item it is, lets be realistic here, will YOU ever personally see it drop? I bet every person who comments here won't and I probably won't either, so it goes to the classes listed and thats all.

The AC is nuts. Completely nuts.
I've already noticed that the AQ Shadow Priest set has AC like Leather, but this is nuts.

Is this how Blizzard wants to make Cloth wearers more survivable?

Hey, Blizzard. The guys who can raid Naxxramas don't need mroe survivabilit. It's the other 80-97%!

Dropped last night from a trash spider mob... Yes, spider mob. It is a hot lock tanking robe. Can you say "twin emps?"

Could all the people talking about "Twin Emps" tanking locks stop if they don't have a clue? Armor has nothing to do with it since Vek'lor is basically only gonna hit you with spells unless you screw up royally. Anyway, even if he's immune to melee, the way the Emperors' aggro works you can go through the whole fight with warriors tanking both of them (in which case you actually want them to take the melee hits instead of his Shadowbolts because they're relatively weak on a real plate tank)

Out of Naxx bosses, I haven't seen the 4 horsemen, Sapphiron and Khel'Thuzad, for the rest I can guarantee that a clothie is not supposed to go and try to tank meleeing opponents.

This robe is made for PvP (unless Blizz is planning on changing something in the future so I'll be forced to eat my own words) and it's useful for all 3 of the classes listed at that.

While this will not replace Netherwind for most raiding situations It has awesome aplications in pvp and aoe. Shaving off some physical damage taken while increasing HP is oh so nice. I can pull 23% damage reduction with this and ice armor with Devo aura and Mark of the wild I can definatly push into the high 20's (again not suitable for raiding but AoE and PvP goodness)

Dropped last night. I as a priest bidded and won. The price didn't go very high. No warlock protested me getting it allthough some said its better than nemesis. After all, it's my dkp, I worked for it.

I'm no lock but I have hard to see that it's much better, especially if you have a full set. I doubt anyone would want to break it with this. It's a minor upgrade at best. Except the high armor might save your life sometimes.

I have been looking for a dmg&healing; robe for pvp and soloing for some time but allways passed for new mages and locks in the guild that needed to gear up. But this is clearly not a very good for mages, they want int instead of stamina and our locks are allready imba geared so I decided to buy it. It looks really nice and you won't find too many running around with them, atleast not female night elves :)

It should be nice in soloing as it will keep the shield up a while longer. I also plan to use it on various trash mobs in raids to increase my ability to survive. I have good gear allready. I can sacrafice some mana for the armor and stamina on this. Enchanted it with +100hp to boost that.

For those of you who think this is for tanking?.....u are wrong, I have this chest but i do not use it for tanking there is no such thing as a warlock tank.

Tanking the twin emps u say?.....u do not need "armor" you need shadow resistant gear u need the highest shadow resist u can get and nope u are wrong again if u actually think u are gonna stand there and tank the caster emp, u are needed just for the pull after that 2 tanks on each side tank them.

How i know? coz i tank the emps every tuesday...this chest piece is a good addition i use it for pvp only and farming otherwise for emps i use a ubrs blue chest piece that looks like i stole it from Victoria's secret! :P......there is no such thing as a lock tank u will get one shotted so fast before u can say "Kel'thuzad"

Well as said before, on the twin emps a warlock doesnn't care about his armor because he will mitigate damage using shadow resist.

This robe has an armor value that's a bit less than T2 mail chestpieces. Even if we had a whole set of this kind, we would still be an "under-mail" class. That means blizz would have to create bosses that don't hit too hard, and immune to physical damage in order to justify a caster tanking with that :)

For what i saw, Naxxramas bosses hit like 10 tanks on T2 geared warriors, so a pseudo mail armor class won't help much.

=> Pvp gear, suitable for all classes (unless blizz creates that weak hitting, physical immune boss)

Edit: Oh and the design is really cool, perhaps non set-geared players won't look like lvl 40's anymore :)

The armor is useless what does 300 armor mean anyway? The mit is fairly negligible

Finally its 320 hp for mages and priests and 368 stam for warlock pre bc who are the only class that can use stam for mana making warlocks most suited for this stupid and really just toy robe. Why would any cloth class want something with + stam and not + spell resist, anything you are going to be tanking will be spell related anyway and for that you will want the class with the high aggro spell and the most stam period. Its just a toy for pvp and a pathetic one at that.

I personally hope this garbage never takes a loot slot from a raid.

I'm a priest and got the first one that dropped. Ofc I use it in PVP. The armor and stamina is really great and gives spellpower too.

But I also use it in raids for trash mobs. Enchanted with +100hp. With this I can get over 5k HP fully buffed. Can survive two ticks of poison charge for example. You really can't have too much stamina fighting trash in Naxx. Spirit or manaregen is next to useless and usually I have enough mana too. It's mostly about survival.

And it looks really cool!

ugh ya i gatta ask how good is this for PvP? i just got this and not sure how much the +armor helps against melee

and also guys this thing is just a pvp item it should not really be used for pve so any mage priest or warlock should be able to get it

This is a toy really. Other than warlock I don't see anyone else getting any benefit from this in pve. Well, maybe aoe pulls. But really,if you need that much extra hp and armor healers and tanks need to step it up. I like the way this looks-too bad I don't have proper shoulders to go with this. All in all, this is a fun toy for me, nothing more.

Simply perfect for PvP.As a "+dmg mage" it satisfies both my survivability and dmg output.
And the looks are simply awesome.

Srsly...I've heard of specing to be more durable than rogues and druids in caster, but this is a bit obsurd...from what I know, the highest armor leather doesn't even have this much armor

IMO, this is most useless for a Mage. Priests (extra armor and lots of stmina may give you more heals) and Warlocks (Soul Link, anyone?) have enough surviability to use this pretty well.

err, ok its got great stamina, but it only has +5 more dmg than Netherwind Robes, and considering its Naxx drop I think it sucks, aint got no spirit intellect or +crit with spells, +hit, +mp/5sec, its not very good imho

In some fights you get hit for 4600+ damage. Then you need more stamina than usual. So I took this robe. It's great for fights with mean damage on all casters (Ouro, Mexxna and so on come to mind).

I got these robes the other day on my Lock. Went SL that night, and it's pretty fun :)

That being said, the #1 reason I got these robes is because they look so awesome. Best looking robes in game I feel...

This is a nexus crystal. They even had to limit it to cloth people so tank druids wouldn't take it and make an actual use out of it.
