Wowhead says it's 9% drop chance for the sword but that's not accurate, its actually way way lower than that.

Killed like +100 dwarves, there's no way the drop chance on this is 7%.. it has to be way lower.

So without trying to be dramatic, this is an insane quest.

I initially went and attempted this quest as a level 28-29 feral druid. I could barely kill a single dwarf with using all my mana and hp. I came back at level 33 to finally finish it just out of sheer determination.

I easily killed close to 100 of these 28-30 elite dwarfs. I was there for at least 90+ mins with a few deaths from the Dwarfs running away into larger groups Each one of the guys has about 2,600 (+/- 200) hp depending on level.

My tactic was to enter into the Dwarf keep and I went to the right hallway and cleared it out. Once I had that hallway cleared, I would drag mobs into the room with the stairs going down. I thought it was an easy place to handle the Dwarfs as they run at about 10-20% hp.

I thought the Riflemen were the easiest to kill. The Mountaineers felt a little more tanky and the priests heal a lot and drag out the fight quite a bit. The Riflemen you can line of sight around any of the pillars in the hallways.
