Anyone know of a way for a horde player to pick up this recipe? (besides the possibility of the AH)

I have a horde character with cooking and I have difficulty finding recipes. I thottbot'd ones at my level and they were all alliance-only.

My alliance cook has no difficulty getting recipes. In fact, they have a guy in stormwind who sells you about 2 pages of recipes.

So the guy listed for the Horde doesn't have/give the recipe to you?

i played wow for a ling time (and im still playing it) the horde also have alot of cooking recipies the alliance cant learn the recepies are just harder to find

The only one stupid here is the one that having the possibility to play Alliance AND Horde in a really huge game, plays only 50% of the game and whines "mommy, alliance gets more Blizzard love, /cry"

Both sides have recipes that the other side doesn't. There are a few more Alliance-only (maybe 9-10) than there are Horde-only (maybe 5 or 6) but all of them can be traded on the neutral AH.

There are only 2 faction-specific recipes that can't be bought, one on each side. But even those aren't BOP so they can still be traded--they just take a little more work.

But this is not one of them. This recipe is both sides.

In tarren mill is a guy i that house and gives a quest you must give him 10 pieces of turtle meat and 10 soothing spieces and then you get it(you must be lvl 170 with cooking

For the turtle meat, kill all the Snapjaws in Hillsbrad or all the turtles in the Shimmering Flats. They drop it with a decent rate, even if it's not so high (about 1 meat every 7-8 turtles, I can say).

Soothing spices can be found at every cooking supplier. The nearest to hillsbrad is probably the superior tradesman in Arathi Highlands, at Refuge Pointe.

I found a soothing spices vendor in the little building near the flight plan in South Shore. The drop rate for the turtle meat sucks!

If you did this quest back when you were around that lvl , and sold it to vendor. And then later on you decide that you want to become a master chef ( lvl cooking ) there is no way you can get this recipe again :-(
