First time through, this dropped on the 3rd or 4th mob. 2nd time through, it dropped relatively quickly. Just spent an hour on the 3rd try, cleaned the whole castle before it dropped.

I gave up when I was there at my level afetr killing about 50 of them. When I can back at lvl 52 to help my guildies, we killed about 30 before it dropped. I hated it

I have come to know Arati as the land of no drops . . . to that extent I attempted the sigil quest a bit over lvl (44). I have just cleared out the castle for the THIRD time . . .including the front area and ALL of the structures there . . . . for nothing, NOT EVEN XP! so all i gotta say is THE PERCENTAGES EVEN OUT YOU B-TARDS WHO GOT THIS PIECE OF S ON THE 2nd MOB!

im can say this quest really sucks, tried killing the magus, conjurors and prowlers but NO DROP plus those loser allys attacking me while killing syndicates by myself. S-U-C-K-S

i went into the castle and killed the 2 bosses and it droped off the third unnamed guy up there

Yup, no doubt, spent about 3 hours with my 42 Rogue buddy helping me, a 33 Shaman... And yes, still no drop ... a couple sweet greens :-/ ... Not really worth the time as stated...

How does Blizzard imagin, that people think it's funny walking around for hours killing the same mobs over and over again, to get a stupid Sigil?

I have started this quest at LvL 38 and i am 42 now, and i haven't got that stupid thing yet!

Although i havn't been doing it all the time i think that i have killed at least 100 of those lame Syndicates but still no sign of that @#$%!

This is not JUST pissing me off!

I was lucky enough to get most of the quests in Stromgarde with the help of a lvl 60. (Many thanks Grimia) Except this one. This was the last quest we attempted, and we didn't get the drop after an hour. I even double checked this site to make sure I was killing the right guys.

So I attempt to solo the sigil a few hours later and get it on my first kill. A Syndicate Prowler. Go figure.

So everybody in my guild that has done this quest has gotten it on their first or second mob. Me, I've killed over 250 of these morons, and still no Sigil. The rates dropped are more of .0001 rather than .01 for me...cursed game. Farming has its limits.

i killed about 10 syndicate prowlers above the ramp and it dropped, the difficult thing about this quest is that they run away when 10% life left and then u got 3 mobs on u and 0 mana left

my suggestion for other warlocks with the Quest is kill the mob u are busy with then sacrifice ure void and runaway till ure leaving combat, then go back and kill the next mob.

I play on Proudmoore so the dozen allys there couldn't gank my ass, one even saved my ass from dying. :)

I solo'd as 38 Druid and just picked off Prowlers one by one and it dropped bout 4th or 5th guy.

Look near the top of this page where it says 0.85% drop rate. Right underneath that should be listed the three creatures who drop it, Syndicate Conjurer, Syndicate Prowler and Syndicate Magus. If these three mob names are not displayed, then you have to "unhide" them by clicking on the little arrow next to the "Dropped by:" words at the end of the "0.85% drop rate" line. If you're real clever, you can click on the names of each of the creatures listed above who drop this goodie and after the creature info page comes up click on the little word "Map" next to theri name. Then a map of where they usually hang out is displayed. Got it?

This is the kind of quest Blizzard need to look at: where you need 10 of an item the drop rate is high, 1 in 3 or so so you are very unlucky not to get one after a half dozen mobs and you can quickly see how long it is likely to take.
Where you only need one drop you just have no idea, the drop rate could be 20% it could be 2% there is just no way of knowing.

I have been soloing these guys for half a level (35 druid) probably killed aobut 40-50.

If you assume a drop rate of, say, 5% then 1 in 20 people will get it on their first kill but 1 in 8 will STILL not have it after 40 kills.
Would be nice if it had some sort of an "activator" number, say 10 kills, after you hit the activator number you get a 20% drop rate, that way you have to work for you quest but you don't get this ridiculous system where some players are there for a day and others for just a minute.

Just my two cents, back to the grind, I am sure it will drop just when I least expect it (it's on the mob that died from a moonfire Dot after running through a wall so I couldn't loot, I just know it)

but anyway, the drop chance is wrong cause not everyone gets the quest, aye ;)

The percentages here are lies. The real drop rate is 0.00001%
