There are two main ways to find you're current coordinates.
Firstly, if you go to the Cosmos menu, there is an option: World Map Info. You want to check all three of the boxes:
Turn all info On/Off
Display Cursor Coordinates
Display Player Coordinates

When you do so, your current coordinates will be displayed at the bottom of your screen when you are looking at the map.

Secondly, if you type the command:
/tloc
Then your current coordinates will be displayed in your UI just under your mini-map.

Did this quest at level 12 on my warrior. If you really feel like being nice, find a hunter level 18 or so and let him/her tame it, its a great pet to have ;P Plus you can just go get the quest again after abandoning it.

Just go to the bones at 55.26 and blow the horn and the "cat" come

I was a level 11 rogue when I owned this guy. He is very easy for a "boss". Also to hunters, he can be charmed so do so if you want a neat-o pet ^^
