This has got to be one of the worst quests I've seen. How the heck would the average normal person find this journal?

It's in the Tradesman's Terrace in Darnassus. Look at the map. At the bottem you have the Darnassus nameplate banner. Above the last "s" in Darnassus is a building. The journal is in the second floor of that building.

So I just opened the lockbox that's supposed to hold Velinde's Journal at 62,82 in Darnassus.

Chest opens and it's empty. No Journal.

WTF is going on.

Its in Darnassus at /tloc 62,83 In the tradesman terrace, look for the signs Mail Armor and Shields, the chest is on the second floor across the bridge from the shield vendor.

The building in question actually says "Sentinel's Bunkhouse". It can be reached by the bridge from the armor merchant's shop.

Very interesting book. Inside is mentioned Arugal, the guy from Shadowfang Keep, and it explains the existence of the worgen in Duskwood and the trouble Jitters was facing. Velinde uses the scythe, which was lost later in Rolands Doom, where Jitters found it.
