These stones are used by warlocks to summon an infernal as a pet. They can be bought from pretty much any reagent vendor in the game. But some vendors have a limited supply!

I'm tearing my hair out, i can't find anywhere, how to to do the quest/mission to summon a lesser infoernal. Just hit 50 and would like to summon one?

I saw a 48 NPC warlock with an enslaved infernal, but i couldn't talk to her, and the nfernal was less than helpful.

How do i get what i need to summon one? .. i heard you had to go into the instance down there.. is that right?

book randomly drops off the warlocks down there. They're before the ogres in lower blackrock spire. Might need a few runs before it drops, it's a grim..something.

thats the old infernal quest, now u have to talk to a npc in felwood then trvael all over wow and find 3 reagents to summon, then kill krushius a lvl 55 elite infernal, goodluck i just got mine !

Just finshed the quest and despite the 60min cooldown this summon is quite nice (at least in large scale PvP battles).

Once you summoned it, it is YOUR pet, meaning you don't have to use a shard to enslave it right away. The time it is your pet is long enough to send the infernal far behind enemy lines and let it have fun. When it breaks free you don't even need a shard to enslave it, as the enemey will (of course) attack the beast and keep the aggro from you. ;)

Just got this inferno summon spell and have no chance to use it yet. According to its description, it says that it can only be summoned outdoor? So I can't summon it inside any instance?

Everytime you want to summon you have to use the infernal stone that "only" costs 40s... unless you know about mobs dropping the stone in an acceptable rate.

ugh... my infernal hates me... NOTE TO PUBLIC: do not summon an infernal in town or near lots of low lvls, he hates everyone and attaks without warning, AWSOME for raids tho, you can summon one in the middle of RH or XR and get devestating results, just a helpful tip...

There are two different lvls and places to get ur infernal.

The first place is in Scatter Scar Vale in Felwood you talk to Niby the Almighty. Talk to him near Bloodvenom Falls at lvl 50 for a very long quest. After that quest phase one you have to kill Kroshius a lvl 55 infernal about 100 feet tall. Deals 1k dmg a hit to me, so u definitely need a lot of help.

The second place is in BRM in the form of a drop as a book, at lvl 60 as i have been told

I got my summon infernal from a quest in Feralas at lvl 51. It is a hard quest that requires som friends if you are not lvl 60 yourself.

After you recieve the summon infernal spell you can only summon it with infernal stones, not with soul shards as usual. You can buy this at the vendor for 45 s.

if a summon it in a city and it breaks free and kills people, that counts as bad reputation to me? how it works?
its safe to summon in a enemy city?

The infernal is a very cool summon, I don't care what anyone says.. Besides the obvious fun of summoning it at SW AH or in northshire/Goldshire.
It is Often a lifesavor in PvP. It only has a 2 second cast time and it hits HARD.

The Doomguard however is even cooler, it realy gives the "Oh, for the love of...." effect to any enemy you face. And if you have one summoned, you can be sure that any player of the opposite faction will take the loooong way arround you (if he has a functioning brain) :P

If you are after infernal stones, the reagent vendor Magenius in Ogrimmar (loc 45:40)- near the end of the drag farthest from the AH - has them for 45S each.
