The scales drop in Silverpine on the NW shore of Fenris Isle, or the SE shore of Lordamere Lake. The murlocs are about lvl 19-20. I just farm them with my main, and mail them to my LW druid.

The Murloc Scales drop like crazy in Lakeshire, most of the Murloc there are from level 18-19 drop is about 75%.

Labwreck is right on the silver, but I still like the belt. I can only wear leather armor, so I haven't found much in the way of decent belts as drops. It helped me bump up my leatherworking. The nice thing about the belt is that it isn't soulbound, so I can wear it until something better comes up then post it in the AH. Of course, I had someone GIVE me the scales so I didn't have to farm it.

As with my post on Murloc Scale Breastplate,
the raw materials for this armor, if sold to a regular vendor, is 7s 15 c. If the belt is sold, after its completion, you get 1s 56c.

Please consider this before you waste your time and money. Better items will come along.
