My guild buddy just got this for me from a sprit or zombie from SM graveyard. The only problem is that i was planning on getting the raging beserker's helm =/ if anyone can help me on telling me which is better i would greatly appriciate it. ^^

I bought mine for 2g in AH (BO price) and sold it for 10g.

This helm is actually a good beginning Fire Resist helm. That +10 FR is a good amount for something that a 60 mail wearer can easily grind solo.

Ever since I posted the comment 2 up from here, I have been farming SM as time permits (usually 3-5 runs a week.) On AV holiday weekends, I queue from the Alterac Mountains just to be closer to SM.

I still haven't had it drop. In the time it has taken me to do these runs week after week, I could have found a different FR helm. But nooooo...I have to be stubborn and get this one.

Good luck on farming this, hopefully you'll get it much faster than I have.

Got this drop past weekend from a chest, in SM section where the books are to be picked up.

Please consider looking for this helm with a high level party (55+). This item drops in Dire Maul off a boss, and the drop is 100% sure, it's just the resistance mod on it that varies.

is there a jackass filter on thottbot? i just wana to block all the bitter people from my visible threads.

back to the point: a 1% drop from a single DM boss is not worth it for an extra +5 FR. much better to grind SM for sunblaze, where there are more mobs and much lower levels that drop it.

I think if u sell it on AH and have some patience u can sell it for 20-30g but get it... is MUCH harder.

sunblaze coif is realkly a good thang, got it in SM arms, from the second mob. its a good helm for warriors or palas if u dont afford Green iron plate helmet but i found and l8er sold mine at AH for 20g

I believe I got mine off a Scarlet Chaplain. In the room of the Library where there are pilliars that split up the room and there are chaplains and monks on the sides of the rooms. I auctioned mine, because I got Herod's helm

Going into the SM lib to help a lower lvl guildee do the houndmaster.. first guard I drop, drops this. nice little payment for helping others out ^.^

Found mine in Library, get this: off of one of the houndmasters dogs... Do not ask how, all I saw was the loot off of a dog.
