These flanks are not prepared!

Seriously though, these drop off crocs in the area. I went after the Sawtooth Crocolisks to the north of Stonard rather than the Snappers, just because they were closer. Easy to find, fast kills, decent drop rate, and the crocs also drop Mystery Meat, which was still marginally useful for upping my cooking skill.

Ive killed 10 of them and none have dropped. Drop % are way off.

Your better off killing the llv 39 crocos, they dropped better for me

I killed maybe 12 or 15, both lvl38 and lvl39, and I got only 1 sawtooth flank. That was from a lvl38. That's when I got annoyed and logged off.

I was getting 3 of 4 drops on the island @ 60,32 consistently. Every where else was much lower, 1 in 5 or so.
Even nearby islands.

Wow you guys must be doing something very wrong. I've had about a 75% drop rate of of lvl 38 sawtooth crocolisk's.

dont see whats so hard about it, just go to the north east entirely and there will be lvl 41 crocolisks dropping 100%.. took me 10 mins., this quest, as a mage...

I did not get 1 drop from lev 38s only lev 41-42 drop!

Yeah, these are a royal pain in the ass - i've been killing them at a good rate for about an hour and a half and only have 3.

The 40-41's dropped well for me, did it on my way to the Lost One camp. He even tells you to get the older ones, so why are people complaining about the 38-39 ones? Rule of thumb, if its a lvl 40 quest, expect to have to kill 40+ npcs!

The highest drop rates seem to come from the animals in the water.

Started this q by reading comments here, well seriously it's not that hard i got 4/8 in 5 min i just whent northeast from stonard and kept killing all of them u see

If you have cords try around 55,40 and 52,45.... lvl 38-39 and a very good drop rate

i killed like 15 of them and i have only 1 not funny
now i killed in the zone that you are saying and there is better.

I was doing these in the south east (after doing the fishing quest) and after 5-10 I had just 1.

I took the advice of some comments here and went North East instead, and I'm getting 1 almost every kill.

I've never seen a difference in drop rate of the same creature type varying by location before but I think it might apply here.
