does this item still drop? cuz iv done sfk 40+ times and i havent seen it once... with a 20% chance of dropping? :S thats odd

Well, maybe it does drop off him as well, but I got mine yesterday . . .

From the Fel Charger in the courtyard stables! It also droped a Fel Saddlebag, a unique, 10-slot bag.

If you decide to do it, know that aggroing any one of the 3 steeds in the stables will auto-aggro the others (they are chained) - could be a problem for a lower level soloist. Also , they are somewhat shadow resistant.

Well, check wow.allakhazam.com instead, this page�s got everything wrong, this is a lantern, not a damn shield, and it drops of the fel steeds.

Saw this drop tonight while I was taking friends through. I've been through prolly a hundred times and never saw it before, but it dropped, along with an Assassin's Blade. looks great, even just for fun.

It's true, I've farmed this instance a few times and it has never dropped from a "Commander Springvale" for me. It came from one of the Felsteeds in the stables. Also, its a green item, not blue.

The Felsteeds drop the Green one, the Commander drops the blue one.

did solo runs of sfk with my mains (horde and allience sides) for a while and one night it dropped for my tauren hunter still have it in the bank but havent seen any more of them drop :c

is Eerie Stable Lantern rare drop? is it droped by any mob in instance or A mob in the instance?

I got this while taking someone through SFK ages ago, I had been probably 50 times before and never seen it. That was over a year ago, I've prbably been back 50 times on alts, with friends, both horde and alliance. We always kill the horses and I have never seen it again. I've never seen this in blue either.

Makes a nice addition to my now 70 hunters toy bag

maybe i got really unlucky, but the drop rate must be lower than 11%
Also make sure you check they are the Fel Steeds... Shadow Chargers share the same spawn.
Also, I got 1 saddle bag along the way
