Pretty nice offhand dagger... the high speed makes it nice for proccing poisons. Also, since it is not unique, you can dual wield 2 of them, so if you are trying out a Bleed/Poison build (assuming a rogue, that is), DWing 2 of these with deadly poison on each can be nice for the fast application of the poison.

while the damage range makes it terrible for a mainhand weapon, the dps and proc make it a great offhand pretty much all the way to 60.

Currently using these as swap-out weapons when I activate shamanistic rage. 1.3 main hand and offhand speed both pair nicely so I'm getting bookoo mana back and hopefully proc'ing the heals at the same time.

I dual-wielded two of this and enchanted with Lifesteal.

I just can say.. it's real fun =)

Although the DPS is quite low, but, use Instant Posion, it procs like crazy o_O

I bought them for 75g / 85g
Lifesteal costs me nothing, coz I am an enchanter >_>

This is very far from the !@#$tiest proc ever.
Compare it to a stamina bonus, which only has effect when you're at full health. How often are you at full health compared to how often this thing procs? Every 5th proc? That's equivalent to +38 stamina bonus then. And i think you'll find it procs more than 5 times between being at full health.

I'm dual wielding this on a speed poison rogue. Very effective, yet I got to reapply my poisons every 10 minutes =).

The healing proc cannot be enhanced. Kind of stupid, the game just sais the proc is not a healing effect at all.

The reason your main-hand weapon always runs out of charges of poison first is simple if you think about it.

Everytime you use an ability like Backstab or Sinister Strike, you're attacking with your main hand weapon. Which is also why everyone uses their slowest and highest base dmg sword/dagger/mace in their main hand.

So even if you have a very fast offhand, you will be getting more attacks with your main hand if you add in all of your special attacks.

ok i have been wondering if you duel wield this bad boy would it proc at different times and stack or is it like when you use a skill then you realize you have the same skill in another spot it takes a little bit to revamp but also if anyone can help me get this i am a lvl 51 rogue named (ise) on (gilneas) server pst me to help me out thx a million*

Just bought this at AH for 10G, been waiting for a decent dagger for a while, and had been watching this dagger go for about 50/60G. To get it for 10G has been a bargain. Great off-hand =)

No it's just that its better to have a slower main hand because that generally means that it does more damage per one hit, which means greater damage with backstab/ambush/SS.

A fast offhand is nice so you can land more poisons on your enemy.

Right now I have Lifeforce Dirk main hand and Julie's Dagger offhand, and boy do I apply poisons alot. It's a nice combo.

i have two of these one in main and one in off hand (duh):P ready for me to use in half a level lol i have read above threads and i gte the idea it is a good off hand dagger...but if i had another one in my main that would be very good right? i mean itisone of the fastest daggers ive ever seen :D

For a backstabber rogue, this sucks in main-hand. But two of these, each with lifestealing and with a Slice-and-Dice going, is *very* good for stunlock rogues etc, and you are alot harder for others to kill too, as you heal yourself, enough, while you are fighting and they are being stunlocked, without you doing anything. Niice.

Same could be done with Skullforge Reaver, though it is slower, but has more base damage.

Either i'm really stupid, or it's the normal price for one of these.....either way, I found out it's useless. I would reccommend to all classes who want to use this: look before you buy, there's a good chance you'll find something better

BTW- I haven't equipped this, and I want to get rid of it, so whisper Kezi on Stormscale if you want to buy it (and please don't ask me why a rouge wouldn't want this)

is this dagger good or bad for mainhand, i remmember some patches ago all dagger went to 1.70 speed by default when using a skill like sinister strike.. so basically this would be equally good as a shanker?

edit:
okey appearently i was very wrong about this,
julie sucks for mainhand if you use like a barman shanker it goes to 1.7 speed,
but julie's dagger stays the same speed, 1.7 is maximum for mainhand not minimum

so lets say the shanker gets "down clocked"
the julie dagger does NOT get "over clocked" :p

so shanker is still better for mainhand then julie's

My rogue dual weild these daggers and just wanted to point out that they can proc back to back and just resets the 10 sec timer. With two you will get a proc or even several every fight.

The healing, (+13 per tick) actually can make or break a close fight and ut uf resets a couple of times it is really not so bad. Kind like regen heath while in combat.

Bought mine from the auction house at lv50 for 40g. I'd seen them up there for 60g+ before so grabbed this as soon as I saw it. A fantastic off-hand dagger due to the super fast speed. Great DPS also. the chance on hit is purely souvenir for me. Members in my party (that haven't insepcted me) always ask me what Julie's Blessing is and how it's healing me.

I have a feeling that I'l be using this dagger for a long time. Getting a faster off hand is difficult. Shadowblade is the only easily obtainable (due to BoE) off hand dagger that compares, IMO.

Used this from lvl 52-57 or so. Speed, plus the proc, plus poison, and I put Fiery on it too.

Really nice piece, well worth it for any dagger rogue to use in their off-hand. Only enchant it with a proc effect, +15 agi is wasted on this.

Only gave it up when I got Bonescraper off the Baron

This daggers is hella fast just got for 48g for my Rogue, Proc sucks tho.... dose not proc that much and heal like no health but fast for getting posins.Get it it rock.

Got this baby off the ah for just 46g. Works very well in the offhand and should never be used in any other hand. Does no damage but the procc is allright . Also using instant poison with the dagger and crippling in the main hand, works great. Just love this dagger.

perfect offhand dagger

just got one for 15g, its so fast that if you put a +4 weapon Damage enchant on it,it is 38.0 dps, + it apply's poisons all the time. the weapon proc is kinda lame though, I'd trade for a few agi...

its pretty good.. proc does suck im dual wielding ThrashBlade and Julie's Dagger.. switching them for ambush and backstab

Rogues! Don't byu it! Better accumulate money for something else. It "heals" very poor. +13 HP per 2 seconds is NOTHING for char 50+ lvl.

I'm at 49.5 right now, I'll hit 50 tonight and be dw'n these with Crusader enchant on my main hand and lifestealing on my off hand. I'm dw spec'd. I'll let you all know how bad I own. Look for me on Azgolar.

Now, what I wanna know is.... Does it stack with Crusader? You could make it a full healing kit offhand weapon for farming.

I just found Julie's Dagger and I'm lvl 58. Is it really worth it for me to use it? My other dagger does more max dmg and about 1 dps less. Sell it at AH or use? I currently have a sword in main hand, but I'll change when iI find a dagger with more max dmg. (Switching to off-hand dagger for backstab atm)

I saw a paladin with this, he had lifestealing on it, he also used Seal of Light when tanking. Really nice, strat UD side btw. He held agro well, and his health lowered slowly.

OVERALL:
About +55 health every hit, + weaponproc, renew, reju + regrowth, lifestealing proc.

This weapon ISNT bad for paladins, it isnt bad for rogues offhand, and it isnt bad for warriors either. For any other class it is. For rogues it isnt that good though, nice speed for offhand but I just dislike it. I have a rogue with Alcor's Sunrazor offhand :)

This is worthless healing effect for +50 level characters, 13 hit points with 2 sec tick for 12 secs total. Would be nice for 1-10 level characters.

Wasnt even thinking of getting this yet but saw it go into AH at 30g buyout and jumped on it.

Damn its fast. :) +4 damage until I get the gold for +15 agil. ouch.

EDIT: the proc is useless. Rarely goes off and when it does its way to small to mean anything. Id trade it for passive +2 agil in a second :P

This is also a great dagger for Warriors to use during the Vael fight in BWL. The fast speed allows you to spam HS incredibly fast, creating that much more hate for you.

For the first couple months while doing vael we had this dagger a requirement for ALL WARRIORS. If you see one for a good price, it might be good to pick it up and toss it in the bank for safe keeping!

the proc isn't useless; the dagger is fast enough that you'll be getting it more often, and if you were to get a life steal enchant with it as well... =D

I just picked one up in the AH for 50 gold, I was pretty happy with that prica and I love the thing. Poisons proc VERY often, great to use instant poison if ur just tryin to do dmg but if ur assasination specced and have ur chance to apply poisons up I wouldn't doubt if u could proc a poison atleast 15 times on a mob 3 lvls higher than u. I don't have it but I'm geussing u could and that's pretty sweet.

If you buy it , dont have it in main-hand. Becuse if you got an fast dagger in main-hand you dont critt so high. If you buy it i think it good with a really slow dagger in main-hand.

Which would be the best Enchant to get on this? I'm thinking +15 Agility on my Assassination Blade for main hand, then either Firey or Crusader enchant on this dagger in my off.

These daggers are only useful is you intend to use a high ambush dagger first, then switch to them for ULTRA DPS.

My personal observation: The heal effect is almost trash if it's only one dagger. Haven't two of them to check out the usefulness, but even crusader is much more appreciated as a heal than this. You trading good stats on regular green (daggers/swords/mace) for a SUPER small chance of gaining +13 hp per few seconds for ~10 seconds.
The proc happens like once per 10-15 mobs, sometimes twice on same mob refreshing itself. I noticed that it MIGHT has better chance when you are in danger (like low HP or many mobs, or I just imagining things). I was looking forward to it, but after three levels of running around with this changed to a bit worse green dagger from a quest and gained boosts for all stats and +35 damage for the main hand from agility that dagger had.
Very much disappointed in it. Won't recommend this to anyone. Although I bought it for 9 gold, I could get myself some epic dagger if added 20 more.

Dropped from a dino in the caves in searing gorge. The prices on these are ludicrous on SOD Wild-Growth right now. I cannot fathom anyone paying the asking prices at 1600g+. That's completely unrealistic. I can see 3-500g on an SoD realm before P4 drops, but after that, this is decent-at-best. And from what I'm told the proc rate is at-best marginal anyway.
