A lot of people underestimate this weapon - it can be really good in the hands of a melee hunter. Hunters have a strong melee if specced right, and the hot agility on this weapon increases their chance to crit, dodge, and that's 16 attack power! I'm definitely going to get one of these babies crafted for my hunter.

I just got the plans for this off of AH for about 1.5g (because I want to be able to make anything out there that i can), and OMFG this thing sells like crazy!

I made two with mats I had on hand, put both on AH with sell out of 3.5g, and sold both within 2 hours! Made two more, and sold them both on sell outs of 4.5g ;-) -- had the nice side effect of pumping my BS skill 4 points (it was still red in my log). Also, I'm an armorsmith, so it's kinda cool to be able to make weapons that sell.

If u want something that sells like crazy, try to hunt down the BoP plans of the Wicked Mithril Blade (i found them in ZF). Friggin easy to make in that it requires no gems--much unlike its Mithril Rapier counterpart--the fact that this blade is a rare find in the ah, plus the fact that it is superior to all green lvl 40 swords, means u can set yourself up to always beat the ah prices and churn out a steady and reliable income. I have sold 15 Wicked Mithril Blades at 4g apiece w/ no signs of stoping yet! The Rapier, on the other hand offers less stats, is considerably more expensive to construct, and is viewed by many to be simply an ordinary weapon. Even the Blue Glimmering Axe is superior, as it is a lvl 39 axe, also has 8 agility (which makes the Rapier's stats obsolite by its lvl) and is a one-handed weapon. The Axe and the Wicked Mithril Blade make a perfect combo for lvl 40 DW warriors and hunters, where as the Rapier offers much less utility at a later lvl.

just thought id mention one good use for these, though they are kinda expensive, they have a good drop rate of greater nether essence! that can go for like 4g in the AH, and can just be hard to come by for a poor enchanter trying to level their skill...

fast speed makes this a great rouge off hand, for the damage, and price. Condcidering that the speedsteel reaper goes for 30g.

Not many people know this but it is one of the fastest weapons a Paladin can use. This has a very important benefit...

Paladins can both judge the seal of wisdom *and* keep it active as a seal. This means every time that you strike and everytime you are struck you gain mana. What does that mean?

With this weapon, the seal of wisdom active and judged and attacking a same level monster you can heal and gain mana faster than sitting down drinking moonjuice! *And* it doesnt cost anything. I have even used this technique in PvP! The poor horde ran around looking for my healer....

Agreed, not to mention it shows that it is 'Main Hand' meaning that as a hunter, you can duel wield it too... which is totally awesome.

If it's Main Hand then no one can dual wield it.

Mix this with the Speedsteel rapier.. and then were talking some nice +16 agility overall and good damage.. Thats what i do...And im a hunter, and yes its the best for a 30 to 48 lvl hunter
