The Phantom blade is a really good level 40-49 weapon =D. The item proc effect activates very frequently and has helped me out in many situations. The damage is impeccable for that level and it just looks cool with its translucent icy image. Good PvP twink sword ! Get it if you can!

The Phantom Blade beats it by damage, but the Shatterer has a better proc in my mind (chance to disarm enemy for 10 secs)

Ok so i hit 44 and looked in AH for a cool sword and noticed the phantom blade it looked so sweet lookin i decided to buy one one problem though, it was 45g so i said in Trade i wanted to buy a phantom blade, some 1 whispered me and said 50g i declined and waited until a cool dude said 20g so i got the mats he was missing and happilly equipped it, now i know it isnt really a warlock weapon but its so cool, and if u have the money u can have w.e u want

Hit 44 last night, had a look through the AH to see what I could get and decided to treat myself to one of these, based purely on the stats... there were a few in the AH, but one had demonslaying on for only 3-4g extra, so I went with that, having no idea until I bought and equipped it as to just how damn good it would look! Easily the best item I've bought yet, I love it :-D

The sword isnt bad for DPS and speed, the armour debuff is garbage compared to a warriors sunder armour for -254 each sunder. The thing is ... this sword just looks so sweet. It should be one-hand though since the chance on hit kinda sux.

LOL everybody on my server gets this for 30+ g i got it for 5g. This i have and serpent slicer is nice combo.

Also this with firey is insane looking, crisp blue and red fire.

This sword is nothing special if you've got the quest reward one hand sword from the Scarlet Monestary or Razorfen Downs main quest. Those ones are free too ... only cool thing about this really is the unstealthing bit and the fact that it sits on your back instead of on your hip. A good rogue however could just stun-lock / blind for the short duration of the debuff and a druid can't restealth mid-battle anyways.

Thats a great sword, and a ery good investment, easy to find at 38-45 gp. i gt mine crated at ironforge in front of me when i was rogue 44, thats a good memory! i used it from then to lvl 58! and i didnt felt underpowered even thus; i was still making crits at 1550hp max on eviscerate (+3 damage). i dont use it often now, but i keep it, enchanted demonslayer, only for demons.

excellent weapon, for charaters who ave high crits abilities, and using fast attacks abilities because its a bit slow.

Even though I am a weaponsmith I just bought this sword for 40g and I love it. It's the last sword I will buy until I hit 50 and I am saving now for my epics. This sword is an EXPESIVE one to make. Mirth Bars = 28 (worth 14g), 10 tru silver (5g), 6 of these wind stones (10g a piece, 60g total), and a couple other expensive items.

God I love my Phantom Blade...It is glow in the dark before enchant, and with +4 striking it looks insanely cool :D :D :D And being a rogue, there's very few 1hand swords that go on the back :)

Just had this weapon crafted for me yesterday when I hit 44. I'm a lock, so I normally don't even use a melee weapon, but I really liked how the weapon looked and if I'm going to carry one, it might as well be one that looks sweet. Probably not the best stats wep for me, but hey, it's my gold. =P

I hate this sword. It never procs and there isn't anything too redeeming about it besides the fact that it looks cool. I got it with a deomonslaying encantment for free though.....BUT THERE ARE NO DEMONS !

It is on the Main Hand, but the reason why its on the back is because its too big to fit on the side so if you have 2 swords, ur main(Phantom Blade) is on the back and ur off hand weapon is on the right side of you

i got a phantom crafted when i was 44 (rogue) and used it until lvl 58! i got it enchanted +3, it changes only a few the look, +4 is more spectacular.

its an excellent weapon, and i still use it now from times to times against demons (enchanted as a demonslayer now). even confronted to lvl 56-58 mobs, the damage where correct and i got no feeling of being underpowered using it in these conditions. At lvl 45 its devastating; at lvl 58 i was making crits at 1550hp on eviscerate with it.
its mostly for the characters that have high crit percent, and using faster attacks abilities cos its a bit slow.

thats really an excellent investment, and it has great look; easy to find at 39-45gp. Best sword i ever had, and when u see it crafted in front of you, its a great memory. will keep it.

Prices are around 30g on my server. 40g isnt unreasonable on a server where the materials are in high demand. At 20g I could buy and resell with a good profit.

If you use this blade to kill Venomhide Raptors (running around in the Un'goro crater) you get a chance to adapt their poison!

Your Phantom Blade will have a green tip effect and in the right-top corner you will see the poisoning ability of the blade.

You have a chance to poison your enemy for a number of minutes and a number of charges in that time!
