It's one of the 2 Tribal Patterns availible to you after yu finish the Tribal quest.

Last night I finished my wild leather quests, and went and did the tribal quest.

After that I made a Wolfshead Helm.Hopefully tonight, I can gather the stuff to make one of these.

As far as I can see, at the moment these are the only 2 Tribal pieces (at least the only 2 you can learn from the trainer)

After all the effort to go Tribal, I really hope they add some more patterns in the future.

Just to clarify, these patterns don't automatically show up in your leatherworking list. You have to talk to the tribal trainer AFTER learning tribal LW to learn them.

Took me 15 lvls to figure that out, wondering why I'd never seen either pattern in the AH. D'oh. >.<

I was farming for these in Blasted Lands, got about 90 of them in about 2-3hours. In that time, I encountered 4! silver elites, all of which dropped nice green stuff I could either dischant or send to my pally, about 4 more green items just randomly dropped, and I found 3 imperferct dreanorian shards or whatever theyre called, which I exchanged for yet 3 more nice green stuff. All I need now is for a flawless dreanethist shard or whatever to drop and grab a blue or epic piece = )

1.11 has filled BL with scourge who have eliminated almost all of the buzzards that used to be the only source of the jet black feathers I need to make Feathered Breastplate. Anybody know another source?

i've been doing the 5 quest to kill the buzzards,basilisks scorpid etc in blasted lands,and i've got 30 of these of 29 mobs.

You don't have to do tribal leather working to get this recipe. You do learn it from the tribal leater working trainer though. I am a dragonscale leather worker and it let me train it.

Mathematically, you have to kill 46 of the birds to get enough feathers to create the Feathered Breastplate.

88.35 = 40
100 x

88.35x=4000

x=45.27

Have to round up b/c you can't have .27 parts of a bird. :)

thanks for the maths... now i know i will have to grind 92 birds...
(yeah.. i've got 2 druids in my guild that want it =P)
