Pre-TBC, the only place you could find this pet was as a drop from Cookie in the Deadmines.

Post-TBC-Release, you may now buy it from Dealer Rashaad at Stormspire in Netherstorm as well.

You cannot have more than one pet out at a time (unless you are hunter of course,then you can have tamed pet out and the cat)

I just finished DM and killed Cookie, he dropped the Siamese cat carrier, and tenderizer. Do I keep or sell... hmmm. Good luck getting this item.

Just got it today after only 1 run. Also got the stirring rod. Lvl 46 Warrior solo.

Got it yesterday after three runs. I doubt it makes a difference but the first two I killed him first, then VC. Third time I killed VC first and then cookie and then got it.

I got it two times in a row! lol.... of course I go a lot to the Deadmines.... of course my rogue alt NEVER finds the Cruel Barb of ol VC.

Still haven't found this cat yet. Gone through the Deadmines several times with no luck. :(

But what I don't get is the disenchant into Clam Meat... =P

trying to get this for my horde warrior without any luck thus far. ran it about 9 times. goin by drop rate i'm hoping i'll get it soon. nice thing is it only takes about 15 minutes to get to cookie as a 42 if you're careful about skipping whatever mobs you can.

Found this on my first run with my warrior. I find myself lucke because, I found Emerald whelpling after killing just a few dreaming whelp, and a while ago my cousin was going to get a crimson whelpling, he kills 10mobs, have to go and eat, I kill like 20 and it drops.

I was doing a random DM room to help out a guildie. It dropped and everyone else either had a pet or didn't care. :) I was like lvl 32 and hadn't had a nc pet yet and I wanted one of those cats.

horde players:
i swam over to deadmines, stealthed my way thru the instance; found cookie over the ship in the last part of the instance, he/she is a murloc named cookie. killed it and got the siamese. its not too hard horde players!

I went through VC a total of about 20 times with 5 different charicters before it I saw it drop, good thing it was while I was soloing VC, so I cot the cat, it pwns. Right up there with my pig. The 10% drop rate kinda sucks though.

On my first sucessful run through the Deadmines with my human warrior, I found it off Cookie right after defeating him! My guild leader said I lucked out, and many a person I've grouped with stopped to pat it. They're pretty darn amazed at my luck, and so am I! :P

haha i got in my 1st instance run of VC i thought it dindt drop but my friend looted it hid it till we left the instance he then gave it to me every1 was laughing

I went in looking for a parrot, and instead this and Cookies stirring rod dropped from him first time.

I'm still a little sad that I don't have a parrot.

i use to have a siamese cat in RL. it had been the family cat since i was born. i was 16 when it died exactly 11 months ago today. and today this drops for me soloing VC, reminds me of my old cat so much, I love this :)

yeah i ran VC so many times with some of my frinds, hard to get up there but i finally got this lil guy and i am happy, didtn want to sell it, i feel good haven getting it my self in stead of byuign it from teh AH, a tauren with a lil kitty, i just need to get timmys lil white cat now

i got this today i managed to persuade my group into letting me have cookie's loot. i was so happy i got it on my first try. i cried when i got it! ^.^ keep killing cookie. lol.

Great animation as far as cats in the game are concerned. Really do not like the tails on any of the cats but by far this is my favorite of all the cats. Nice drop, worth running the deadmines two or three time. Also, for horde- it is possible to get. Just takes a bit of trying to get to Westfall at lvl 24ish... afterall, yuo do not want to get to Westfall with broken armor. I suggest swimming up the coast. Watchout for the Murlocs on the coast by the lighthouse though.

i got 5 of these in 7 runs (by myself) and i sold all 5 for like 3G each... so its 15G total XD

i was the priest healer tending to some mana issues at the end of deadmines when my entire squad decided to get got by the cook.. i tried to reach them but only made it in enough time to drop a smite on the cooks head and to pick up this lil fella. Nobody ever wants to wait for the priest to replenish mana.
