Used oil in Zul yesterday when we were surrounded by pain-in-the-behind totems, and it took 2-3 seconds to kill wipe them out. This is a great AoE damage dealer with NO COOLDOWN, and of course doesn't consume precious mana. As a druid I don't have any AoE spells so this has become a very handy pot!

This potion looks useful for 4 things:
1) Tank aggro. Give your main tank a few of these, and he can lock AE aggro pretty damn well. Well worth the investment.

2) AE'ing mages. You can't go wrong with dealing out more death in less time.

3) Hellfiring warlocks. Same idea, more death, in less time.

4)This potion is crazy useful for the priest epic quest. Make sure stock up on them, if you have the quest.

This potion is very powerful, with a short timer. Try it out in PvP, and see how much you like it.

heres a perfect plan!

u drink the potion, go near your flag in AB when loads of horde come, cast Ice block.

Now u have 10 seconds your friends can resurect and then you can die, but at least u saved the flag :p

or cast cold snap and do it again, saves 20seconds.

Very useful and cheap at Nefarian for the undead invasion when Nef gets to 20%. If all rogues use this and assist the mages AOE they go down very quickly. Bear in mind that your frame rate may crawl with so much AOE going on

This makes running low level instance EASY.

57 Arms Warrior guide:

1. Round up all mobs in a few rooms
2. Stand still, have a druid or priest cast regrowth/other over time healing spell
3. Sweeping strikes, oil
4. Constant Thunder Clap and Cleaves.

Can clear VC in about 10 minutes using this strategy.

USE THIS IN RAID GROUP multiply 50x10=500 damg every 3sec or 50x20=1k damg every3 sec for 15sec! if horde ran thru IF wit this things would drop like fly's imagine a 100man raid thru cities wit it 100x50=5k damg every3 sec!

They do NOT start the potion cooldown, and can be used one after the other (in chain). Very nice effect, especially on Baron Runs and the Benediction attempt.

I use these on the demon in Silithus for the hunter epic bow and they do a good job of killing the little bugs it spawns.

Adds some sweet dps against the phase 3 undeads on Nef as well. I mean if you're not that lucky to have paladins 0_o

Since no one else mentioned this, if you are doing the quest "The Ironforge Brigade Needs Explosives", the Oil of Immolation drop from lvl 55 and 56 Sand Skitterers west, north, and east of Cenarion Hold. What stinks, though, is that I killed around 30 of them and the damn oil has yet to drop!
