Fairly easy to get. Just keep killing the mobs until it drops. So far i found 3-4 of them but no upper one yet, so low drop chance on that one.

These chests have a decent chance to drop wirt's third leg, linked above.

I'm a 48 mage, been AOE grinding these guys for a couple days. I usually pull around 8-15 mobs, and because I kill so many, I've been getting a lot of these chests. So many that I've had 3 wirt's third leg drop for me over the past 2 days =D

ok so my friend helped me get a wirts third leg on AH earlier in the day (im an enh shammy so i want for dual wield) and i asked for some help getting on from drops and first pirate footlocker that drops has it im like holy #$%^!shamazin 36 shaman stormreaver

I grinded those pirates for about 3 hours and got 6 of those boxes. 1x Shipping Schedule, 1x Middle Map Fragment and 4x Lower Map Fragment. :/

These are supposed to be for lockpicking right? Well everytime i get one its unlocked and has junk in it...Anyone have any idea why this is?

I've probably been killing these dudes for at least a good 3-5 hours. Maybe more, I lost track.

I've only found one box and it had the captain's key, a parrot skeleton and some silver in it. iirc.

captain's chest had a green plan that wasn't worth *!@#. think I sold it for barely 2g.

I got 2 keys within an hour, and my first chest had a green. My second chest had a green staff, and Wirt's second leg. The guy I was with bought it off me for 25g :)

First one of these i opened on my priest while farming the pirate hats had Wirt's third leg in it :).

If you get multiple ship schedules, you won't be able to do the quest more than once. The pirate's footlocker you got it from will stay in your bag and opening it will just show empty. Trade it to someone to open it, then have them give you whatever was in it.

Weird, i've got 7 upper, 4 middle, still no Ship Schedule.

Absolutely hit the jackpot while levelling my Shaman early this morning (thought I'd get the quests done at a time unlikely to be occupied by multiple Mages as always...) and by the time I had finished the 4 quests in the compound I had obtained 3 Footlockers, which each gave a unique map-piece, one contained the Ship Schedule and I got two Southsea Lamp to boot.

I'm historically terrible at getting what I need from these within the Southsea quests and I usually end up buying the overpriced map pieces from the Gadgetzan neutral AH as consequence, so it's nice to get lucky for once.

The Captain's Key unlocks Captain's Chest which can be found at

/way 76.5 45.8

Which is the ship inside the stronghold.

Once on the first ship, you need to go onto the second and down into the captains quarters where it's inside on the left.
