These used to be a reward from the quest Gahz'rilla - and few people ever chose them over the Carrot on a Stick. They have been removed from the quest as a reward for some time now, and thus are no longer obtainable.

This is the only pair of goggles in the entire game that does NOT require engineering as a skill, so if you're a cloth class and you want them, this is your chance. Still, the carrot is probably the better option for 99.999% of us :).

lol so many stupid people that get this AVERAGE green item in favor of a UNIQUE trinket

The bloodwoven mask (req level 48) comes with +13 to two stats, and the of the owl, of the eagle and even of the boar would be superior to this piece of crap.

Definitely go with the carrot instead. I've been lvl. 60 for well over 4 months, and I still use this on a regular basis.

Theres almost no point in picking this item.
They really need to buff it up to the levels of the Carrot on Stick so that people have to decided which is better.

why owudl anyone choose these? they are pointless, if u want goggles go ENG, and the stats are O.K but only a rogue would use them, but they r cloth, so evena rogue wouldnt use, pointless, carrot is much better.

I had a Hunter that I wanted to get these with. I play on a Roleplay server, and they would've worked well with her outfit for RP.

It would be nice if they actually gave a mechanism to switch the reward, because I hardly ever use the Carrot.

My guess is that 99.9% of the people who do this quest, do it for the carrot.

This is not joke either, being april 1st and all, the goggles are no longer available as a reward as of the last patch.
