Players can now farm Darkmoon Cards in WoW Classic, collecting them in advance to make epic trinkets when the Darkmoon Faire starts on February 10th.

To create a deck, collect all eight cards and click on them to combine. This starts a corresponding quest to turn in the deck to

in Darkmoon Faire:

. Thaddeus is located at 41.3, 70.0 in Elwynn Forest or 36.5, 38.0 in Mulgore when the Faire is in town.
For each of these decks, the 2-8 cards are random drops off levels 45-60 Undead and Humanoids while the Ace drops from specific mobs. These are not soulbound and may be traded or sold on the Auction House.

: Equip: 2% chance on successful spellcast to allow 100% of your Mana regeneration to continue while casting for 15 sec.
If you cast a lot of instant or short-cast spells, such as healers in raids, this is a very useful trinket. Not so useful for DPS classes who primarily use long-cast or channeled spells.
Elementals Deck

: Chance to strike your melee target with lightning for 200 to 300 Nature damage.
Note this says "melee" damage, so obviously this is best for melee classes. It's considered a BiS for Retribution paladins.
Portals Deck

Darkmoon Card: Twisting Nether
: Gives the wearer a 10% chance of being able to resurrect with 20% health and mana.
This trinket is primarily good for PvP.
Warlords Deck

Darkmoon Card: Heroism
: Sometimes heals bearer of 120 to 180 damage when damaging an enemy in melee.
This may seem like a good tank trinket, but the general consensus is that this is a more useful trinket for melee farming or grinding.
