New Artifact Calculator Appearances Tab, All Artifact Colors in Modelviewer, Relic UI Improvements

Artifact Appearances
Legion artifact weapons come in many styles and colors, and now you can preview all of them in Wowhead's modelviewer!
The
Artifact Calculator
has a new Appearances tab that brings up all colors and styles in a layout similar to the in-game UI. Click on a colored square to open up that variation in the modelviewer.
When viewing an Artifact Weapon on an item's page or in the
Legion Dressing Room
, there is an option to modify the Artifact's appearance. This brings up a menu with the names of the Artifact Styles, and from there a list of colors.
On an item page, click on View 3D, and then select the "Artifact Appearances" menu.
On the
Legion Dressing Room
, type in the name of the weapon you want and add it to the paperdoll. Clicking on the weapon icon then brings up a "Reforge Artifact" option in addition to the usual Replace and Unequip options.
Do note that some of this data is incomplete on Blizzard's end, so some colors may be missing or mislabeled.
Improved Relic UI
The Relic system on the Legion Alpha has undergone another round of UI improvements, which we've added to the
Artifact Calculator
. When a relic is socketed, the affected trait lights up on the Artifact Calculator UI with a special border.
Here's some more information on how Relics work:
Relics can be socketed anywhere on the artifact and will grant you a free rank (or ranks) of that trait. Normally, you can select new traits when a connecting trait is maxed out, but for relics, they can be anywhere.
Relics increase the item level of your weapon and grant a free rank (or two) to a specific trait.
Your Artifact Weapon starts off with 2 Relic Slots, and a 3rd is unlocked shortly after reaching level 110.
One relic can have different modifications for multiple specs. On each relic page, you can see what Artifact Traits they modify, and vice versa.
