We're starting off our Warlords of Draenor reputation previews with a quick look at the
. Reputations in Warlords of Draenor are quite different than those in Mists of Pandaria--no traditional dailies or epic gear tied to grinds!
is also returning for one more time before Warlords, so we've included our mini-guide in the post.
The
is locked in a rivalry with Harrison Jones and traditional archaeologists. They seek to "liberate relics from the ogres of Nagrand with the noble intention of selling them to the highest bidder."
Rewards
The quartermasters are
and
, found in your faction hubs.
Honored
Players can purchase the
: Attempt to throw the Goblin Hot Potato to a friendly player. If they have free room in their pack they will catch it... assuming you manage to throw it safely!
Revered
There are two pets available at Revered:
:

Exalted
At Exalted with
, players can purchase the
tabard, a pile of gold with protruding shovels, and the
mount.
How to Gain Reputation
There are two ways primarily to get reputation with
. These quests are turned in at the Steamwheedle encampment to the west of Lok'rath in
at the fork in the road.
Ogre Fragments
:
requires you to turn in 20
for 250 reputation, and
requires you to turn in a
for 350 reputation. These items can be looted from special
Highmaul Relics
in the northwestern part of
or by killing any mobs north of the river.
The Garrison mission
also rewards a
, but this is a rare mission.
Elites
: There are eight elites which drop an item that can be turned in for 500 reputation. The NPCs in the area talk about these elites and have a holographic projection of them in their settlement.
: Aogexon is one of the most feared beasts in Nagrand, and one of the largest and most dangerous forest stalkers ever seen! I've already been approached by a number of a collectors interested in obtaining one of Aogexon's deadly fangs. If you are up for the challenge, Aogexon can sometimes be found lurking in the swamp not far from here.
: NYI
: Few elekk have lived as long as Dekorhan. Elekk tusks continue to grow throughout the elekk's lifetime. This makes Dekorhan's tusks some of the largest and oldest on Draenor. Do you hear what I hear, <name>? That's the sound of all the gold jingling in our pockets after you bring me Dekorhan's tusk!
: Most talbuk are peaceful creatures that will only attack when they are defending their herd. Not Direhoof though, that talbuk is one of the most aggresively dangerous beasts I've ever encountered... and one of the most magnificent talbuk I've ever seen! If you encounter Direhoof while adventuring and live to tell the tale, return to me with the beast's hide and I'll see that you're rewarded!
: Deep in the forest of northern Nagrand is a giant Gronn known as Gagrog the Brutal. In case you're wondering, he didn't get his name by giving out free hugs... this Gronn is as savage and murderous as they come! Now look, I'm not telling you to go try and hunt this thing down... that would be suicide... but if by some miracle you fight Gagrog and live, make sure you bring back his skull!
: Not far from here is a hippo of unusual size and ferocity known as Mu'gra. I've been contacted by a private collector that would like to acquire Mu'gra's teeth for a special exhibit. Hippo teeth are extremely difficult to extract, and we can't be selling damaged goods so just bring back the entire head, got it?
: Windrocs can be found all over Nagrand, from the highest peaks to the lowest valleys. However, one windroc in particular is extremely elusive and is rarely sighted, it is known to the orcs as Thek'talon. If I know anything, it's that people will pay a lot of money for anything that is rare or elusive!
: Xelganak is as deadly as they come, <name>! I don't recommend going after Xelganak unless you love money, adventure, and glory. Xelganak's poison stinger would be an easy sell to the right collector, so if you're up for the challenge I'll make sure you get handsomely rewarded. Just don't go getting your face melted off like Bozzil, ok?
These quest items are BoA, so you can send them to an alt who wants reputation.
Lore
has the following things to say about
when you speak to him:
Tell me, what do you see when you stare into an ancient artifact?
History? Culture? Mystery?
That's because you have an untrained eye! Do you know what I see?
Money! Lots of it!
Stick around with me long enough and if you're smart you'll learn a thing or two about real archaeology!
The Steamwheedle Preservation Society was created to help ensure the safety of valuable artifacts and antiquities across Azeroth and Draenor.
We travel far and wide to obtain the most precious relics and artifacts ever seen!
Our mission is to put all of these priceless artifacts exactly where they belong…in the hands of the highest bidder!
