What is Hardcore in WoW Classic Season of Mastery
The Hardcore concept in WoW Classic originated as a community driven initiative. Blizzard eventually added in many new features into Season of Mastery to support this group of players, which has grown to many thousands of players. One of the biggest changes for Hardcore was the addition of the
Soul of Iron
buff, which players can obtain from either Ironforge or Undercity. If you die at any point, you will permanently lose your Soul of Iron buff. Tommysalami and Tactics achieved Level 60 without dying a single time!
