lilian is so boring just a whiny litle girl that suddenly became a forsaken loyalist
"It seems my skills drew the attention of the powers that be. My services were... ""requested.""Did you catch the hidden meaning there? Sorry. Despite my profession, I'm not the best at subtlety.Regardless, I know how to recognize an opportunity when I see one."Kinda gives me some hope that Voss is just here to try and kill Syl. Cause the rest of what she says seems really... off, at least if you take her excuse at face value.
I wish the writers would try to have some kind of continuity. Jaina forgave the bombing of Theramore (which killed way more people than Jaina's vengeance has). In game it's clear the reason she hates the horde is because after she forgave them for nuking her city, they used her other city to get a weapon against Jaina. I get that the horde has to have a reason to hate Jaina, but could Blizz at least try to be consistent with the reasoning?
So... spoiler alert but, Grom dies again? :(
*rub hands after reading Grom's fate*GOOD!
God damn it. I didn't read wowhead for monthes in order not to get spoilers and today for some reason I did it and spoilered Grommash death. Great =_=
Current Warchief of the Mag'har is Grommash and Yrel's son. A Half-Orc like Garona. Nice.
Ugh, seriously? The only questionable thing Jaina did after the bombing of Theramore was off a few Sunreaver civilians, after the faction went behind her back and used Dalaran's neutrality to the Horde's advantage. Yeah, that's still a messed up thing to do, but Rexxar's acting like she went and started committing hate crimes against the mok'nathal or something. And Lilian? Her ENTIRE character arc was about her preventing people from having to suffer through undeath, like she does. Now she's actively welcoming people into the Forsaken a la Sylvanas? When will Blizz hire some consistent writers for once; or at least people who KNOW the characters
"We fight for the Alliance because we believe in its values. And one day, I pray we will bring all of Silvermoon back into the fold."Man, the whispers must be really strong to believe such bull
Heck yeah! It finally confirms that there was more than just the High Elves who wanted to leave. So when Silvermoon attacked, 4 factions were formed. High Elves, Kael'thas' followers, Blood Elves, and then the Blood Elves who had no desire to work with the Horde, so they left. There place was to eventually rejoin the AllianceI think that is more than fine. I wanted High Elves just as much as anyone else, but it is really annoying to see idiots who still say Void Elves are not High Elves. Void Elf lore was the same dang lore as all High and Blood Elves.I am purely Alliance. I don't like the Horde much, but I am sick of people claiming Horde favoritism because we didn't get high elves.
Also, something tells me the Book Signing person is supposed to be inspired by Gilderoy Lockhart from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
With the spoilers from the new book in mind, even Lilians excuse why to hate the alliance seems off. Either that or Sylvanas propaganda machinery is very effective.
The fact that Blizzard go to such lenghts to explain the reason why Horde players should hate the Alliance means that they are not able to make it obvious through actions in game. Great news! I really liked being educated on subject of Illidan's informed innocence in Legion, now I'll have an army of yes-men telling me "Look, Alliance ARE bad, you got to hate them just like we tell you!"
