I was worried that Blizz would make a botch job - I'm happy to say that, for myself, this is incredible and will be the perfect transmog for my blood elf warrior! Now just need some decent weapons to go with it!
I think in the dressing room, the raiment and tunic are not the good ones. On the preview, the raiment has a 3D piece for the chest but in the dressing room, it's flat. Aren't those of the pnj armor ?
Best. Gloves. In the game. Also with and without tunic screenshots have different boots, wish to know how hidden looks.
This looks amazing
Now we only need that double-edged sword and shield! and I would be really tempted to level up my paladin :D
Just fix the boots to be more bulky, have some yellow/gold adding like with the gloves and ur cool Blizz..everyone seems to agree the boots are way off.
I hope the boots on the non-robe version get some 3d modelling to match the gloves...wouldn't mind some on the pants and skirt too, to have them armored(yes, people who didn't read the whole article, there IS a version that isn't a robe!)
It's an iconic armor for bloodelves, but i feel it's not that detailed and awesome...for example they should have add the bloodred teardrop stone in front of the robe from the original art and not color all gems felgreen. Now they only need to add a spellbreaker shield and weapon. For roleplay purpose you can create an spellbreaker style with a fury warrrior:https://ptr.wowhead.com/dressing-room#Ra0z0zJ8z9cRV0r9m8WTm808WTV808WTd808WTb87VWTq808WTk808WTR808WTs808WTa808asI808asA808btw: Breastplate, claws and toecaps are missing in the viewer.
Omg there is hope! Whoever is responsible for this armor needs to be promoted. Finally decent looking armor, true to form and an option for robe or tunic. Thank the art department in charge.
The armor disappointed me. I knew we couldn't expect Lor'themar level of detail, however - Blizzard constantly told us that heritage armor will be designed the way it fits the race perfectly (in terms of scaling/clipping), hence it will be race exclusive. When you look at this armor, it looks like Cataclysm era one size fits all armor, with shoulders on males being too far apart and kind of looking like falling off their shoulders. There are far too many green gems embedded into everything. The belt, that could be used for 3D armor parts, and even the robe, that could be supplemented by them (like paladin tier 19) is very plain (not to mention not too high resolution texture). The facemask is also somehow odd looking (maybe due to the curve ratios). The parts I like are boots (those we see underneath the robe version, not the flat ones with the tunic) and gloves with claws - they seem detailed and finished. Armor itself feels very rushed, somewhat unfinished. Here's some very quick alterations in PS: https://imgur.com/Q8BVf0h
I hope the boots are also a little chunkier too like the old Spellbreaker armor.
Can we get the glaive please?
Picture shows cool pointy toe tips, video shows rounded ones. I do hope we get the pointy. The rounded just looks like cloth slippers... Also wish it didn't have the face guard, as I love the wings. But all in all I like this :)
Trousers, especially on female, look very low-res. Not to mention in general they're highly undetailed. Couldn't have hurt to polish it up to standard with the rest of the outfit? Smack on some green gem like it has everywhere else?
Very nice.
Yet no matching wep or shield
Nice! 10/10. Wished it came with the weapons, but if the data mined stuff is to go by, we might get them in the Warfront.EDIT: Make that 9/10, does not play well with tabards.
WOW I love it!
