people already paying $1000 for the portal pass on ebay so.
*@+# AXS. Money grubbers. Jesus.
I don’t approve of this. Tickets should be sold through battlenet and no reselling allowed. If you change your mind just ask for a refund from blizz.
It's authorized scalping with Axs taking a second cut of the money. Call it what it is.
So this just destroyed several aspects of the blizzcon tickets. First, lets say you have expendable income and spare time so you buy a half dozen tickets and resell them at a slight increase which pays for your ticket. That is just smart business sense. Now you have to charge 30% more for said ticket which makes the price higher or eats into your profits. Second, lets say you buy tickets for several friends because they do not have a chance to buy them. You have no intention of selling them for more, you just buy them and your friends pay you back, now those tickets cost 30% more for the second owners because of the fees. Now, in the past you could do both of these systems with no issue what so ever. Now a company that no one likes is making a huge profit off of the transaction after already tacking 3-5% onto the initial purchase. I see Blizzcon becoming a ghost town very soon. It is also funny that none of this was announced early and is only now being discovered after the fact.
well a normal blizzcon ticket went for $1500 on ebay so prices will just rise when more people find out The Rolling stones are gonig to be the closing concert considering their nosebleed concerts are about $5000
Heck yeah. If a company can do this, let them do it. Nothing wrong with that. The only reason they are doing this is because they are allowed to. Stop blaming this company. The people buying these tickets are at fault. I bet you if no one showed up to Blizzcon this year, they wouldn't do this again.
Blizzcon is dead. Nobody needs you. The internet has all the news in 10 seconds anyway.
theres plenty of vids on youtube saying why you shouldnt use that app (AXS) cause it basicly scrapes all the data off your phone and you have no choice where that data goes.
Convenience fees are bull^&*!. What convenience? Me doing everything myself and for that i get to pay an extra fee.
Oh C'mon. Blizzard is just ensuring that everyone at the convention is safe and sound thanks to AXS sharing all your phonedata and internet history with NSA. Better not have googled "lyrics to Let the Bodies hit the floor" or "How to build a bomb with a can of Dew and a pocketful of Mentos"
I dont get what is the problem with people that are trying to make money? The fault is on those who help them evolve and use the services.
