Nice, can't complain, very cool idea!
wow this is sad
Doubt it gives anyone who has BFA anything. "If it looks too good to be true it probably is"
Oh neat. Free stuff is cool and good, I suppose.
Please Note Some Details.First there is no posting on the official World of Warcraft website. There is no posting about it on the American site or the Brazilian.According to entering the Facebook page of the Brazilian WoW there is no video in the video session, there is a video of the same theme, but it is in 1080p and the words are different. There is nothing to confirm this externally, there is no Twitter, no post on the site, and no other sites in other languages.Sorry for my English, I'm not fluent in the language.
a mastermove by blizz.but.. those who already have retail will get a free 110 as well since we are the ones who support retail in the first place?
You think you want it but you don't.
guy got to lvl 60 in 4 days from a ice mage lol
Will I be able to get a free 110 boost even if i already own BFA?
Well crap, this does sucks for us we wanted to save BfA last summer discount.
so apparently its not only brazil, lvl 60s mentioned they got as well check the livestream of the realm 1st lvl 60 guy
Grieving of some stubborn classic-rose-tinted-glasses are really entertaining. Like toxicity is always overflowing within their heart? Couldn't appreciate a single thing and always have the urge to declare how COOL they are. Only two pages of comment and we're already seeing these people.
If it’s true and world wide (and why wouldn’t it be?) then this is a smart move by Blizzard. BfA is so far along in its lifecycle, anyone who wanted it badly enough to pay has paid. Given what Token prices have done this past week I have to believe a LOT of people came back to experience Classic whether they bought BfA and got bored or never bothered to try it. It really doesn’t cost Blizzard anything and it may draw a few people into playing the newest version of the game. I think they are different enough from one another to coexist in the market, especially if the patch cycles are balanced out properly.
Smart move by Blizzard. It encourages people only really interested in Classic to give Retail a try, even if the player's mindset would only be "now I can grind some gold on Retail for WoWtokens". Some of those people might decide Retail isn't as bad as they thought, and even if they literally only play Retail for a token that's still an extra $5 Blizz gets from the sub since the tokens cost $20 to sell. If the player just ignores it then it's not like they just lost a potential sale either since that person probably wouldn't have picked it up on their own either. It's a move with little to lose and a lot to gain.
I really like this, I made an EU server to play classic with some friends there on top of my NA account. This gives me an incentive to get to 60 to have a character that can make gold in retail to pay for my overseas account. It is a win for me
Free stuff is always good. Also, if you wany you can go this rout buy sub >> get lvl 60 on vanilla >> get latest expansion for free, a younger version of me would have done that even if he didn't like the classic.
