I couldn't find a single Idol :( hope we can get more coords soon!
I wonder if the transformed people are also hostile to each others or they can be grouped up to make a void army?
It should be noted that, unless they have changed this in the last 2 days, if you use the toy or on the quest to be a servant of N'Zoth you are not hostile to the player and thus can help your party get player kills. Not sure if you can heal them, was not on a healer.
Do you have to have Warmode active?
Do I have to use the Aether of the Abyss in order to being able to see the shards in the cracks?
So I just finished the quest Shards of Corruption and accepted the quest Enter the Void. Fun fact, when you become the Void Wraith, you can speak in Shath'Yar. I got 16 honor per kill during this, and after finishing the quest Enter the Void, I was automatically given the quest Servant of N'zoth. In text he whispers, "Accept my gift... fulfill your destiny..." and I was given the item N'lyeth, Sliver of N'Zoth This is the same item and quest you receive when you kill any 10 members of the opposite faction. Similar to other assassin quests, if you die at any point from then on, you will fail the quest Servant of N'zoth.
I can confirm that people grouped are hostile of each other. BTW my friend wasn't turned into a monster too so i can't tell if 2 monsters can be friend together. The sad thing about that quest if i understood is that you have to collect each time 20 shards to become that monster and i can tell you it ask a lot of time to the collector. In other hand the quest rewarded me with 66 corrupted mementos + some conquest points and nothing more. When i've validated the quest after killing 10 ennemies and when i've clicked on the quest done, this instantly removed my monster apparence, it's a bit sad, maybe i should have keep going without clicking to kill more people :oI had trouble to find the idole of iniquity the first time i gathered the 20 shards, i waited some hours and finaly found one. You can see the icone quest on the map when you are nearby. I think the idole might not be UP everytime even if you have 20 shards, but i'm not sure about that and other people have to confirm it.
Here is another location for Idol of Iniquity: 71.52, 73,85
I found multiple shards in the area of Akhenet Fields. Vir'naal Oasis east of Akhenet and north of Ramkahen were also bountiful areas for the farming. However, it was very tedious to gather them all. Here's the list of my locations (some of them, when I started to write them down):
I would say that getting this is not worth the effort, void wrath abilities don't hit much plus you are vulnerable to every interrupt or stun. Took me 1 hour to get all the 20 shards and 2 min to get me killed and I wasn't even close to kill one single player.
What a giant waste of time.Spent 45 minutes trying to find the shards. Didn't find a single one. Checked all known locations and some extra, pretty much wasted 45 minutes of my life. And yes, i have used the aether of the abyss, used it just before i went to find the shards. Saved it in my bags just in case some secret is uncovered.. I even relogged just in case before going to uldum. And judging by other people's comments, the mob itself if pretty easy to kill, so this whole secret is just a timewaster. Please tell me if i did something wrong.
FWIW my idol was at another unlisted location 66:67.
